Thompson M1A1 mk2 "Modern"
The Thompson submachine gun is a blowback-operated, air-cooled, magazine-fed selective-fire submachine gun, invented by the United States Army Brigadier general John T. Thompson in 1918. It was originally designed to break the stalemate of trench warfare of World War I, but was not finished until after the war ended. The Thompson was then widely adopted by the U.S. armed forces and their allies during World War II.
It is the first weapon to be labelled and marketed as a "submachine gun".
This modernized tacticool version features an ergonomic stock, tactical rails, 45° iron sights and a tactical green Laser Aiming Module.

Should I let people steal it ? Also, I credited the dark signal audio files, it’s in a folder called “Dark Signal Audiopack”. It uses only a few sounds from Dark Signal not EVERYTHING from it, learn the difference. Also I contacted the author prior to ask him if he could add his audio pack on moddb so I could properly integrate it in GAMMA. He said no. Well, I had to take measures to simply fix the audio of few guns and that’s it. Also, this is none of your ******* business, I already talked with the author about this. Now if he’s unhappy and shares whatever ******** in my back, he should simply talk to me openly.
Now do you think I would spent 2 ******* months coding an installer that directly gets addons from moddb so I’m not redistributing other peoples Addons to not care about intellectual property and crediting authors ? You people are disgusting. After EFP fanboys I have to deal with Dark Signal fanboys it seems.

The situation with the Dark Signal authors has been resolved, it was a huge misunderstanding including a third party... Dark Signal authors can confirm.
We are now teaming up and sharing addons to improve both GAMMA and Dark Signal. In good faith I'm meanwhile removing the Dark Signal audio from gamma.

Confirming that all issues and conflicts between the Dark Signal team and Grok and been resolved peacefully and civilly. Going forward we're going to be cooperating to improve both G.A.M.M.A. and Dark Signal.

So let me get this straight. You openly admit that Shrike had not put his Audio on ModDB nor on a platform with redistribution being permitted like on a github repo. And yet you had his files in your modpack, without express permission from him nor any credit given (but credit to Demonized for extracting the files for you! I.imgur.com).
And you yourself have said you built your installer in such a way that you don't need permissions being a little slimeball I.imgur.com Except, that wouldn't work for the audio files you stole, because they weren't on Moddb Grok. You are outing yourself for stealing, if Shrike wanted to he could easily have a legal case built against you.
Maybe think about that next time you decide to be a hypocrite or try to push people around with GAMMA related ****. All of your stuff is legally redistributable, and it would be perfectly fine for anyone here to post GAMMA content on Moddb.

Hater spotted. Gamma is made to be modular, and most of the modifications are standalone, feel free to use them, simply not redistribute them bit by bit, that’s it.

People can use gamma and extract what they want from it. I don’t want people to repost on moddb bits and pieces of gamma. That’s all.
Also, gamma doesn’t redistributed any of the moddb addons, it directly downloads them from moddb to properly credit the authors.
You can feel free to use any gamma addons outside of gamma. That’s why it’s on git anyways

All newly added .ogg files from Dark Signal into GAMMA's repo. Which is downloaded by the GAMMA installer. And that record is also recorded in every fork of GAMMA... If you download the code base from github, it includes Dark Signal's audio files.
Also... FYI Dark Signal is on ModDB, made the front page... Was posted on ModDB's Twitter page, I'm sure you can find it with Google <3
Grok the Dark Signal files on your GitHub repository consist of more than 600 ogg files alone. You do know that the number 600 is much larger than 10 right?

You can share gamma it’s made like this, everything is on git for that reason. But I don’t want people to redistribute bits and pieces of gamma on moddb. Gamma will be added to moddb at some point when I think it’s mature enough. And all the modifications of gamma are accessible on GitHub and can be integrated in any load order, that’s why I made all the changes modular in the first place.
Now you claim that you don't want pieces of GAMMA ripped out and uploaded to Moddb, yet you flat out ripped pieces out of Dark Signal, despite being told no, as the audio was a work in progress and is not complete, and uploaded it to your GitHub and discord server without authorization. Dark Signal's audio is not released under a license which permits modification and redistribution.
It doesn't matter what you want, regarding you released your work under the AGPL 3.0 explicitly allowing for modification, redistribution, and commercialization. I don't see a section mentioning "ModDB" anywhere in the license. Might I suggest reading before clicking next time <3
Furthermore, GAMMA's downloader pulls the audio files from Dark Signal, from the GAMMA repo, Dark Signal audio files are only distributed with the pack itself. Why would the GAMMA repo contain the .ogg files from Dark Signal's audio if GAMMA downloaded it from moddb.

I never said so izperehoda and unlike all modpacks, I'm not redistributing them since my installer get them from moddb directly and installs them in MO2 just like any human would do, but everything is automatized.
I also give full credits of every mod included in GAMMA, including the original source location. In MO2 you can right click any addon and click "Visit on moddb" to see the original addons. I can't do any better man, and no one ever did this kind of stuff in any modpack.

The Thompson submachine gun is also known as the "Tommy Gun", "Chicago Typewriter", "Chicago Piano", “Trench Sweeper” or "Trench Broom". It's all the same gun. It gun "infamous" with a drum magazine in the hands of Chicago mobsters.

tbh i don't know if they nicknamed the m1a1 the tommy gun as well.
The Reload is cool but the mag clips a bit to the right at the end.
The full empty reload is a bit weird, the hit to the gun feels misplaced (I assume it is from another gun).
The unjam animation is stolen from another weapon (m4 or something like that).
I like the sideways iron sight, cool.
I do not really like all the extra scopes, only adds to more bloat of items and since we already have those kind of scopes if feels kinda redundant. I like the models of the scopes but if you have to find exact these scopes for that gun it makes less fun.
The weapon kits on the other hand are cool, I like them.
Hi, yes the anims are the same as the M4. I'll look into the clipping to see if I can do something about it.

I'm wondering if I'm doing anything wrong here but I got the hard addon requirement and this addon as well and installed them on my anomaly modpack (includes B&S) and the game wont load now and I'm just curious on if I did something wrong here or if I'm just being stupid lol, any help is most appreciated!

I did both of those options already but I'll tinker with it all a bit more.. I'll try to disable one mod at a time to figure it out.. I've got 64 total including your mod so it will take some time, but I'll definitely keep your offer in mind, thanks for the help!!

Just wanted to let you know that I finally managed to get it to work, I got the new release of the dltx files and reinstalled the game and now it works perfectly!!

NP!! its a great weapon idea but for me the inventory icon was bugged and I wasn't able to put any attachments on it aside from the holo sight one, even then it was up in your face.. But I can't wait to see it in it's full glory or the other weapons you have planned, good job and good luck with the rest of them!! :)
