Ok with some help of IskatuMesk I found out what has been crashign this mod all along. it's the star.spk file. dl winmpq and delete that file from mods exe. Congrats you got it working on 1.5.2
I'll ask permission to update this profile with a fixed exe maybe adding a limits expander to it too.
Now first 90% of these comments were total crap and people like you hsould shovit up your ***. This mod is unbalanced yes but it's damn fun to play and you people are just being ******* elitists... He did NOTHING wrong to you and you go here and flame his mod in nay way possible. You should die alone for this....
Now back to business. I need to get the latest availible version of this mod. Can someone help me out here?

Finally this got aproved by moddb. I can swear the mod was added a month ago atleast. But aproval was so late...
New version is out. Map is A LOT bigger now but it's far from complete.

Well all those who fear they won't be able to play can relax with ATI Radeon 4850 and 4870 getting a high end card is possible for almost everyone even now. and by the time game comes out i guess everyone will be bale to afford one of those. So Ati kinda saved all of us budget guys out there.
Don't talk ******** like that right now Veoh is not availible in 160+ countries so it is INVALID choice for any mod makers and is absolutely useless as a video sharing system. Use something else. Even dailymotion.com would be enough. They atleast don't go arround as nazis and ban whole world except the few selected countries without any kind of warning.

But why SO many half life 2 mods. In the end they all slowly die as talented people migrate and try to create their own mods which then fail too becouse of lack of people. Someone should organize all the existing stargate halfl ife 2 moders, pick a mod that is most complete now and finish it. The fans are willing to kill people for stargate mods that seem to never get done.
I had to disable that damn protection to even let my Homeworld 2 run... sometimes VISTA is just TOO protective...
Btw i have an idea from this picture. since you said you might go for all the mission coding stuff. could you try to make a "memory" mission. i mean one that your character "remembers"(like in cod 4 the sniper mission). You could make thep layer port to the reskined Old Beaver town with retro stuff. That would be fun and would add even more gameplay area.
Well what do you expect from a map ported from one of the first full 3d racing games. and as a matter of fact with trees and trafic you won't really care. Gameplay is key.

Seriously the maps in both carmageddon games are damn fun to drive in. they may look old but they are fun as hell. I can't wait to see a release.
