I've worked in the industry for about 10 years. Video games, Video-gambling, Military-Simulation, Interactive Experiences, Technical consulting. I've worked as a gameplay programmer, a lead programmer, a game designer, a product designer, a product owner, a project owner, a producer, a front-end engineer, a back-end engineer. I love games as a medium and will debate with anyone about how games are art but don't always have to be artistic.

Escape Goat

Game review

Escape goat is a short, not too short but it gets to the point quickly, but clever game about puzzles; with straight forward mechanics that are not only easy to understand but well explained by the developer. The game takes the player through a set of puzzles in such a way that allows the them to become so familiar with how everything works but also gives them time to understand everything fully. The puzzles are challenging enough to give the player a feeling of satisfaction when completed but never so much as to frustrate the player into not caring to complete them. I had fun with this game and I much more often than not felt things we're acting exactly how I assumed they would; even though the game's dialog's are short, clear and to the point.

I haven't finished the game (only because I played it before bed) but I can't wait to and I hope the developers can introduce some interesting story elements moving forward because I find myself wanting to cheer for my goat and his furry little friend more than I currently do.

SOL: Exodus

Game review

This game has a few rough edges but ultimately gives the player a play experience they can't get anywhere else(anymore). I often find myself asking why X does Y and not Z but that just might be me being picky...
