Hi there ! great job on this mod ! It looks really nice. But i would like to ask if there is any way to play in 4k resolution. Because what ever i try in the menu, i dont see 380x2160 as an option.

With the venom mod i have played the game in 4k, so the game can do .. I have tried adding in autoexec.cfg and wolf config, but the game remains on full hd resolution.

Is there any way to change settings so the game will be in 4k resolution ? Thanks !

Hi, first of all, thanks a lot for this great mod ! ACM is so much better and finally playable now !

I do have a question though. The game is running smoothly in 4k resolution, and i did not change any of the graphic settings ingame, because i read in your description you have set all to max possible in the ini file, But i still see quite a lot of jaggy graphics, like there is no AA on ? Is this just because of the game itself, or can i change some setting somewhere to get rid of it ?
Its not a big deal, but if it can be changed, it would even be better

hmm .. in that cfg fil already see these lines:

Sometimes it stays at 1920x1080 in the menu, but still when im ingame and look at my crosshair, or zoom in .. its not a cirkle .. so that means the aspect ratio is incorrect (right?) .. i really dont understand. Does it have something to do with steam ?

im going to try to put in the quake config now as you mentioned

Hi, first of all, thanks for the hard work for making this mod.

It looks great with nice textures !
But i have a small problem with resolution, which i cant get to work.

I have a 1920x1080p monitor, but everytime i set it to 1920x1080 in the menu in Q4, i have to restart quake .. and it sets it back to 1280x720 ..

I tried also to put it in the config files, but no luck ..

I really want to play Q4 with ur mod, but then at 1920x1080 .. Do you have any suggestion ?

hi .. i have uninstalled the game. Deleted everything i could find from ID software Doom related. Then installed the game, patched it up to 1.3.1, placed redux folder inside main game folder. Then copied the exe file, renamed it. Made a shortcut with right thing in target field. Loaded up the game, and still the problem occurs. Its really weird.

It look like the game is on a very low resolution. But when i make a screenshot (im at the menu of doom, but dont see any of the menu options etc) and check the screenshot, it looks like doom is in a right resolution...

When i boot up the game with the doom3.exe, the resolution is ok. When i try to load the mod from there in the menu, doom3 stops working ..
Do you have any idea ? Thanks so far for the help !

i found the solution !! read this, maye it helps some other people too:

Find the jk2sp.exe (in this case doom 3 ofcourse) file and right-click on it. Select properties, then go to the "compatibility" tab. There you will find an option that will "disable display scaling on high DPI settings." Check that box, and suddenly you will have control of your resolution and not be all zoomed in on the top corner. (all credit goes to Dur89 for this fix)

When i look at the DoomConfig.cfg file (inside redux folder), the resolution is set to 1920x1080

you were right about the instruction. I forgot to copy the exe file first.

I did that now, but now when i start doom the resolution is weird. I cant see the menu, its too big ...

The directory looks exactly the same as your picture, and the shortcut is also right.

hi there ! Thank you very much for this mod !! Its playing very very smooth and looks awsome. But im having some issues. When looking into windows, i see sort of mirrored image. Look at the screenshots what happens. Im on windows 7 ultimate 64bit, AMD R9 290, 8gb ram and retail doom3 patched to 1.31

Also, when im out of the airlock and outside, the resolution changes to a wrong resolution / aspect ratio.

Im sure it can all be solved, will play some more and if i see more stuff i will post it here ok ? And then i'll just wait for the new version :-)

most beautiful d3 mod out there for sure !! Appreciate your work guys !! Unfortunately, the game keeps crashing now and i cant continue the game ... When i open my pda it crashes, and it also crashes when in Administration in some point of the level, after killing the first 3 (or two, dont remember how many there are, but when you first meet them) Demons and go upstairs .. I cant get through ... Please help .. i really f**ing enjoy your mod guys .. i love it !!! Do you have any tips ?? My hud is gone aswell in that level. Ive tried to change from alpha to d3, but no difference ... The game did not crash in any other levels, apart for sometimes opening my pda .. Any help is welcome, so i can enjoy your amazing mod further !! Thanks !!

unfortunately, no difference ... still no hud .. and still crashes at that point in the game .. damn ... I WANT TO PLAY !

The game is working for the first few levels, but is now crashing at the same place in level Administration. At this point: Nl.tinypic.com

unfortunately i cant get the mod to work. I have installed Doom 3 and patched it up to 1.31. After that i installed the mod by it's exe file. Ive installed it in the Doom 3 directory.

After that i tried to launch it by the shortcuts that were made, but nothing happens. Starting up the game by its original exe and trying to find the mod in the menu under mods, shows nothing...

Can you please help me ? I really would love to play this great mod.

ow, one small bug: after you have been attacked by the first Demon ( Pinky ?), the second one that attacked me was invisable ...

Nobody else having the weird and annoying shadows ?? I cant believe, we are the only ones ? Take a look at my earlier post, or on the forum so you can see a image of it. I really hope its fixable !!!

Hi, im having weird shadows ingame. My friend has it also. And on the forum from the mod (technical faq) isee someone having the exact same problem. Anyone here has it also ?? Its such a pitty, because the game looks at its best and runs as smooth as hell ! Take a look at the forum to see a picture from our problem.
