Is DSUpdate server down? Launching the exe gives me an error that reads: "Download failed. 'http://145.255.244.57/FWUpdate/dsversion.html' The requested URL returned error: 404"

The FW server has something like 24 people on ATM, so I assume it was working over the last few weeks.

Still loving the second game with all the user made content. Will probably give this a go.

(Also, the banner image is a screencap from FS2. The ship is a Perseus, which is only seen in FS2, and that image is actually of the user made upgrade to the Perseus' model, not even the vanilla one.)

It seems that people with windows XP SP3 (including myself) are having lots of crashes. In my case, I could not find a solution. I tried reinstalling FL and FW, cleared profiles and disabled all graphical enhancements and even resorted to using DX8. However, Sushi assures me that the team is looking into the issue :D

From what precious little I managed to play, the combat mechanics are great, and both the tac-map and roll axis are wonderful additions. Looking forward to further releases!

Thanks for the quick reply, but by hyperdrives, I meant the hyperdrives on capital ships, or without using hyper buoys. I'm not really sure how you would use them in game. Maybe I'm just missing something obvious.

Firstly, amazing work so far! You have done things I never imagined were possible using the FL engine, and I can't wait for the release.

Now, for a few questions: Will the FL companion be enabled for this mod, will systems be on a flat plane (not with landmarks above or below the horizon), and how exactly will hyperdrives work (through the console, equipment piece, etc.)? Thanks :)
