Doom 3 looks so much better with high res textures and high poly models (not even mentioning the special effects.)
i honestly got nearly killed by the first Imp when the cutscene started ... i just forgot to fire my gun...
After i got the Doom 3 BFG edition i was somehow disapointed about the improvments. Yeah, compatibility with Win7 is great, some smoother graphics, bugfixes etc. And ofcourse Doom 1 and Doom 2 and RoE all together in one big package.
But this mod is what Doom 3 BFG meant to be. Awesome walking down the road into hell and back!

-soundproblems - weapon sounds, engines and other special effects are missing. music, voice and som eeffects are playing correctly.

CoH2 has _NO_ modsupport, in old days, THQ even denied Modsupport for CoH2
we will see. they started to balance the factions more (like no heavy factory for Defense doctrine of WM). Let's hope that they will think mire about balance and not to put everything ingame.
a PaK43 instead of a JagdPanther or beeing a rewardunit are possible. we only can wait.
i hope BK-team will give us some more news about the development of the Mod.
i heared that someone is working on a PaK 43 model so it's totaly possible that Xalibur will used it for BK since they are using EVERYTHING they can get in their hands.
totaly true ... they are adding more and more stuff, mostly for germans. but instead, tehy should work on the balancing.
most of the units ingame are cool, but not usefull.look at the AT-stuff for WM: 37mm PaK, 50mm PaK, 75mm PaK, AT-Guys with Panzerschreck, Halftracks with PaK, dozens of tanks and tankhunters ...
why so much stuff? and something like 88mm PaK is coming soon (i heard)
i like BK, because of the damagesystem, and some of the new units. but N44 is mostylk way better 'cause of the difference between the factions and that not everyone has everyunit...

reminds of the movie "event horizon" - really cool movie about gravity engines and "how they do it wrong" ... what if we build a hyperspace core, without knowing the exact functionality or what if something goes wrong?
the higs are lucky to have found the old cores, so they could build their own ones at the basis of the progenitor ones.
hmm, funny thing: just imagine a hiigaran engineer in a space suit, surfing on a visible quantum "wave" on a surfboard with engines :D

in Babylon 5, ships with HS cores got teh ability to "jump" into an other dimension, the hyperspace. there, they were travelling with normal engines to the re-entry point.
maybe in Homeworld, it like an instant jump, like you mentioned ariel :)
hmmm, reminds me of the sci fi bookseries of Perry Rhodan and the old "jumpengine". instant jump from one point in space to an other.
one think about hyperspace cores i know is the fact, that they are made of electronic semiconductors. a big block of this material ... but dont ask how it works.
it's fiction. it's like the hypersapce jumpsystem in "Babylon 5". nonone knows the real function of this "engine", because scientists have no ideas about hyperspace and stuff like this today.
we now that the HS cores in homeworld greate the ability to jump into hyperspace and to "hold" the ship there until the ship reachs the re-entry point.
maybe its some kind of "wormhole"-engine, creating and closing artificial wormholes.
but it has the name "hyperspace/jump engine" ... so maybe tunnelling an other dimension? tunnelling the hyperspace?
