Hey, was someone able to find the fix for that LAA problem? The previous versions of SotP worked fine (which I did uninstall before installing this version of the mod) and currently Interregnum and SoaGE both work fine.

I've tried downloading the files from here and the Nexus three or four different times each but I'm not too sure on what's presenting the issue. One time it actually loaded into a single player match and lasted for about two minutes before it popped up with that LAA message. (Which, yes, I have tried to 'reactivate' the LAA by clicking through the application that came with this update and trying Interregnum's LAA application.)

Would trying to find that crash dump help point out anything to someone could actually make heads or tails if it?

The one downfall to just about any RTS game that I've come across is the enemy does nothing but get extra credits or their units get extra buffs with the difficulty and they just focus on swarming the player(s) rather than actually thinking about tactics or strategy. Unfortunately, that also counts for the structures they build.

I've assumed it's most likely (from the AI perspective) because they already have Frigate and Captial factories on some planets, they have all of their tech stations already, and they already probably have a solid income so instead of building spares/extras of buildings that serve no purpose (in their eyes), why not build holonets that you can use to overwhelm enemy culture and get buffs from it?

Try to take a players logic out of the equation. It would make sense to build factories on shipyard planets and trade structures on trade planets, but the AI just isn't and hasn't really ever been that smart in the games I've played. There may be a game out there where they are actually smart, but I haven't played it.

I stumbled across this before. Are you trying to build it while the planet upgrades haven't finished?

In my experience, with say... a Missle Turret or a Frigate Factory when I try to build them but the Logistic slots are only 12 (While the planet is still upgrading to bump to 24) the constructor drone will build it anywhere from 1% to 80% then fly off and build something else up or pause construction but that's because the planet upgrade hasn't finished.

In essence, I don't really think it's a bug, just a pre-emptive building method of sorts. Not ah... sure if what I posted made any sense but hope it helped.

Wow, I just realized it's January 30th...

Well, anyway, I'm not trying to sound ungratefull or like I'm trying to rush you in any way but I was wondering, Was the game moved back do to not enough time or have you just not gotten around to posting the download?

Mods take time, as someone has said, "Patience is a virtue" and also "Art takes time, don't rush art" these are true and I'm hoping that this (Prequel, Mod, etc.) Will live up to everything you have made it to be.

If I may throw my two cents in, Why bother with all of this? I'm not trying to spark some sort of flame but honestly, Why continue a pointless arguement? What happened to the saying, "If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say it." Can't you guys be reasonable? Every single person is entitled to their opinion yes, but why not offer FRIENDLY advise with out an arguement?

Nice Models! I know you obviously don't want to detail them too much because I asume the banshee is going to be like a fighter sized class and the phantom is going to be like the Lambda shuttle (I'm not sure If I spelled that right...) but even with the small flaws they really are great!

If possible they should make it where it's like the "Return of the Clones" mod with that. Except have delta as a minor and the others like infiltrators. (What I mean by saying they should make it like that mod is that you could build any number of just commandos but they didn't have names.

Does this update fix the error where in Galactic Conquest It showed two clone trooper icons and I beleive two AT-TE Icons which cut off two other unlits like on yavin I could have everything built (Barracks, Officer Academy, light vehicle factory, ARC training facility, Jedi Temple, etc.) but some units wouldn't be displayed. And also, Did you increase the size of the Venator for the Republic or no? Or did you fix that in other updates? Or am I on a compltely diffrent RotC Mod?

Are the republic gunships/LAAT's going to be as they were in Return Of The Clones where they can deploy 2 squads of clone troopers or will they act as a transport ship? Will you have two diffrent types if they're transports (I.E. When the LAAT's were deploying AT-TE's they were diffrent from the regular ones.) Like regular = Troop Carrier Special = Vehicle Carrier

I'm confused, in some pictures the clones are grouped together like a regular stormtrooper squad in EAW Original/FOC. Others I see them spread out but not crouched. IF you use the "Take Cover" option will they spread out? Will they crouch like they did? or are these wounded squads of single clone troopers?

As A suggestion I think it's be nice if through out a campaign or galactic conquest you had to find peices of tech or something along those lines. And also, whether it's a cut scene (I'm not sure if your able to make one or not) or something else, I beleive it would be nice if you explained a little background through out the story line or in the begining. I'm sure you have it covered but those are just a few suggestions...

I've got the gold pack. But What I meant by bending the facts is if you take out little things like how would the star forge move if it didn't have power yet also how would they move it away from the sun it was located above. By all means I don't mean it's not a good idea or that its a bad map, It's seems like a good map but I'm just one of those people who like to know the "Background" or some sort of story line behind things. Oh and I haven't got a clue about the problem, I put the maps in the custom maps folder but it doesdn't show them when I fire up the game. Maybe If I try out your map and see if it works?

Oh, That explains quite a bit then. I thought you guys had numerous programmers considering this is the ONLY mod I can find for EAW making it a Halo universe. Although I wish I could accept your offer of joining but to tell the honest truth, I don't know how to mod or anything. I could offer suggestions though on what unit should be replaced with what (i.e. A squad of rocket marines could be plex soldiers etc.) But I'm pretty sure you've got that covered. Also I apologize if I seemed to pushy in my first comment, I re-read it and it seems that way.
