I'll be honest, I'm not 100% sure I understand what you're asking. Are you asking if I can merge my mod with MSO?
I know it isn't out, I've been selected as a beta tester.
I plan on introducing a couple patches more but the mod itself is pretty much complete, there is little more I could add.
Negative, those are from Call of Chernobyl.
So it's the same, sweet. I'll be ready with CoP Variation Mod Call of Chernobyl edition. ;P
Amazing! I can't wait to see this actually in action!
Simply just put the gamedata folder into the Call of Pripyat folder and you're good to go.
I apologize, I have not.
Total Faction Warfare is a mod I helped with on Clear Sky. It has a good amount of variation and is a good mod overall, you should give it a look.
As for SoC,
To be totally honest, I didn't start modding S.T.A.L.K.E.R. until Clear Sky. So that is an unfortunate no, sorry mate!
If your game crashes more you should report what kind of crashes you're receiving. As far as I know my mod is pretty 95% bug free as of current release.
What kind of specs do you have on your computer?
How easy will it be to implement multiple skins for all the new mutants. As for Stalkers you just add them into the gameplay_desc. Mutants it's kinda different is that the same for these?
Looks awesome, I can't wait for the artifact hunting!
What kind of features will Forester give us? :D
The mask looks horrid. D:
That happens to be my skin! Wondering if there is a downloadable/working version of this model somewhere!
I'm thoroughly enjoying my time in the zone as well. The mod is an amazing map pack, leaving lots of flexibility and customization of the zone as a whole. Granted, when Bangalore gets artifact spawning working, it'll be game on. ;)
Thanks for including my mod! :)
Testing stuff for Bangalore, the zone is a fickle thing. :)
That I am.
Nothing really, I'll continue as I always have. Though, at the moment, models are something rare as of late. Only one model I really want and it's impossible to find a good version of it.
It's very possible, depends how the new weapons are distributed among Stalkers.
Yeah, was on my way to see how Wolf was doing. :)
Exactly, would be a terrible waste of space to include so many different variations of the same stats.
The player will retain the original Sunrise suit. All of these are variants of the sunrise suit for NPC's.
CoP Variation mod, and internal testing for a map pack. That's it!
God of the Zone is an easy to install mod that lets you spawn whatever you like.
I use it personally to spawn different squads to check varieties and see how things perform!
An older version is included within Misery. :)
Thanks mate! Working on the next version already. Been looking for more.. "unique" models. For instance I got a new optional in the next version, has Nimble in a sunrise suit with his face from SoC.
It's the same gas mask, the M40.
Also, I Promise you the suit is a SEVA, the wiki also says this, here are pictures.
Strelok - Images.wikia.com
SEVA - Images2.wikia.nocookie.net
It's the exact same suit.
So technically, the loners already use the suit.
I can see what you're getting at, and it's an interesting idea, though, not practical in the slightest, worse durability and protection than the Sunrise except vs anomalies. One fire fight and that's gone too. So loners wearing one without a helm would just be throwing themselves to their deaths. Also, the Duty and Freedom variants are NOT the same. They share the same vest, but the actual suit underneath is completely different.
But... they aren't Merc suits..
Also.. Strelok IS wearing a Seva suit, he just doesn't have the helmet on.
And to be honest, that would defeat the purpose of the suit. (The bandits don't know this! Shhhh!) Anyone going without the screen helm is just crazy!
As for bandits, I'm alright with how they are. For instance. Someone is dressed as a police officer, does that instantly make him friendly? No. Those kind of factors should be determined more by in game personality. In the vanilla game, it's kind of lacking, but in my personal mod, They're a more what you call, vicious.
As for military, being in the military myself, it's nay impossible. For personal firearms and protection, at that point, usually merc squads used under a goverment, Aka the Military Stalkers from all three games that were contracted by the military. The actual variety for the units isn't hard, but all the military in Pripyat save for the evacuation are hard spawned. Meaning no matter how many variations I add. Everyone in the Laundry Mat, will look the same.
I could change that, BUT. That would most likely require game restarts, and I'm staying away from those.
Call of Pripyat Variation mod has never forced anyone to restart their game. All that has been done is that new NPC profiles have been added to the spawn list and will spawn over time. Granted, it's easier to see NEW variations with a new game. It's not required. Just give the game time and let a decent amount of people from all factions die, and the game will spawn in new people.
