I dont think you are going to need more than 16. If you play at legendary difficulty it will be hard to maintain more than 2-3 armies at once even at mid game. When you can afford more than 10 armies the game will be effectively because of how rich you are

Do you use steam or not? If not then perhaps you could tell me how you got the mod working.

how the **** do you install this without steam. Everytime i start the game it gets stuck in the loading menu

I play vs actual opponents. Elves are unbeatable once they get Silverthorn arrows. No factions stands a chance vs the elves really.

Elves need to be tweaked. Atm they are way too overpowered
