It's really unfortunate that you guys had "development disagreement" with UA team/creator. In 2020 Dawn of War modders are rare and hard to find so it was a loss to community in a way. It's between you guys so I won't go into that. I just wanted to wish you boys happy holidays! Good luck with upcoming projects, I'm sure you guys will knock it out of the park! :)

Have you tried disabling fog in the console? Just type fog_toggle in console and it will disable fog, make sure to enable cheats and that -dev parameter is active..

There are some outdated models but UA has Swarmlord, Hierophant or Tervigon for example, units which are not available in current public and working version. Developers said recently that Tyranids will get some new stuff in the future, only thing we need to do is wait. Cheers.

I think UA Mod has the latest Tyranids version, while standalone Tyranid mod doesn't. I might be wrong though.

He said somewhere that he has no plans to add Slaanesh, which if you ask me makes no sense. He should totally make Slaanesh as well to complete the Chaos faction.

Did you install 2.15 patch? Check your match settings, maybe one of the options is disabled which should be enabled, for me it was aircraft, if issue persists check console CTRL + SHIFT + ~ (tilde) and see what causes problem. If you still don't know what causes the issue enable -dev in launch options and go to soulstorm folder, find logfiles and ask brother Gambit_1 for help. You can message him about the issue and he might ask you to send him logfiles, you can find him at Unification Mod page. Cheers.

That's werid. Maybe parts of registry or disk are corrupted. Try running it as administrator.

I think they said somewhere that remaking Warlord is not priority at the moment,but they will somewhere down the line, not sure though..

No worries, yes, just copy to main directory. Yes it will be graphical update to the base game, but currently Mr. Eranthis (developer) is busy remaking and improving gameplay, once that is done every unit model, taskbar for each race, and probably buildings will get graphical improvements as well as new units.

To install the mod, simply extract or drag and drop Redux folder and redux.module to Soulstorm main directory, usually: Steam/steamapps/common/Dawn of War Soulstorm. Then activate it from the game manager in the main menu.
Unfortunately this mod only works for Soulstorm.

Sorry for the late post, but yes, just install the mod in the game's directory and then patch the same way, and that's it.

They probably will, took them a while to figure out how to milk more money from people's pockets. :P

Hopefully it will help others with the same issue. Well I believe it doesn't reset local.ini because of the Steam cloud, it saves settings and profiles and that can be tricky to change, you need to bring conflict dialog to upload new settings to steam cloud.
I wouldn't suggest turning off the VSYNC since it broke the game, especially maps, but that may have been only my case.

Fabulous Bill is experimenting with corpses of falled Primaris Marines in the lore, so they could be coming soon. Although stronger and more powerful possessed marines are more likely to come (lorewise). You can call it artistic freedom that's why they are there. In the end it really doesn't matter, it really doesn't. \o/

You're probably right. If they fail with Age of Empires 4, I think it will be the end for Relic Entertainment..

Did you fix the issue?

Did you try graphic window which appears when you first start the game, you know setting resolution and refresh rate? Did it stutter then? Did you try other games, or this only happens in SS? If it happens in other games maybe it's system or GPU driver related.
Check local. ini, open it with notepad and check if vsync is turned off, that could brake the game, happened to me. Also try disabling fullres_teamcolour = 1 to 0. This option makes models and banners sharper but eats a lot of memory. If it's not there that means ot disabled.
Try verifying games cache, it will download missing stuff.
Not sure if it could be visual library, since game installs required ones during installation.

Did you apply 4GB patch? If you have fullres_teamcolour = 1 in Local.ini set it to 0. This option uses a lot of memory and can cause crashes especially considering number of models UA uses.

When did they announce that there will be no more Dawn of War games? As far as I know they only announced that they will stop supporting and creating new content for Dawn of War 3...
