Over 10 years since the game's release, I firmly believe this is THE definitive version of Far Cry 2 for the hungry veteran.

Doing just enough to feel different almost immediately, but not going too far as to make the experience nreasonably hardcore, which I found to be the cas ewith some other (yet still great) FC2 mods.

I first downloaded this mod when it was version 5.0 purely to enjoy the new looks. But the small gameplay tweaks turned out to be absolutely fantastic! they may not be everyone's cup of tea, but i enjoyed the game more than when playing through vanilla. there were some difficulty issues, especially Vagary and Sabaoth boss fights, but otherwise it will keep you on your toes while looking gorgeous.

perhaps my favorite feature here is the motion sensor on the plasma gun. this is pure genius!

now downloading version 6 to see what's new and replay the game yet again.
