The author was even nice enough to provide a version with re-enabled GPS map, because of my bad eyesight so mad respect to him.

Almost everything you wished in Far Cry 2 is here.
It may not be as thorough as Tom's Mod, but gosh darn at least this one is useable for more than 10 minutes without CTD.
My only gripe with it is there's no option to use the original icons for the GPS/map (or icon system for that matter), and I'm not a fan of the new one. But that's a small price to pay for such a great mod.
Definitely the best way to experience FC2 in the 2020's.

This is the actual "final/definitive/ultimate/complete/revisioned" original content friendly mod for the game. Accept no substitutes.
Fixes most issues with the base game and adds a few small extras, without doing anything unnecessary.
This is my go-to mod for when I want to replay Far Cry 2.
