Avid gamer! South-Africa's gaming scene is mostly focused on western games so games like S.ta.l.k.e.r is GOLD here! (For me at least)
This is quite funny... for years I was trying to remember what the English word is for an easel... and finally I got the answer. It's exactly the ******* same as in my language.
MAN, I feel like a knob.
Yeah I can see how it resembles him... by the way the mascot the known as The Guy.
YEAH, well done you buggers!
This is looking good, maybe another video closer to release build would be nice to see what the placeholders get replaced with. And what the font would look like! :)
Keep it up!
Aren't you just such a special case.
Wow! Well done guys. Now the community might just bring out some more maps. This is quite the update!
It happens. Like we weren't even able to get Titanfall. It never got released to us.
However I am willing to give Survarium a try, after all it looks great. When I get a chance I will download it.
I think we are already friends on steam though.
If only Africa would also get attention with games like these. I'd love to play, but already know that my latency would never go below 200.
If you use 3 frames, maybe at a faster frame rate then it might just look even better... worth a try.
Is Betrayer is still available, I would like to have it :)
Oh looky! A waterfall of love. :D
It's the age old tale of Africa. Conflict is central to almost every culture on this continent. The only ones who seem to be at peace are the Khoi-San whom live far away from most civilization.
South Africa's future is very very dark right now. Infrastructures are failing, internal conflict is causing rifts. And there is no immediate fix as you said. But the biggest problem of all is that nothing is being done about it.
No telling really, a lot of work to do on this project.
I have to say, I am very very very much green with envy!
Yeah, that guy burned his community bridges a long time ago.
What did you think it was at first? I'm curious to find out!
That's the skyrim model eh?
Oh boy that's very cool!
I can only imagine. The new order was quite good. Actually it was a highlight for me last year due to how they made the guy you play as more human. Very excited for this, and will probably get it at some point.
Ah okay cool. I remember my old 5:4, really liked that screen. But that was back in 2007. Is there a reason why you only mod for BF2?
Are you playing on a 4:3 screen?
You know... you can upload an image of 1950 x 1200 resolution that's still smaller that 2mb. Sounds like you should have done some compression or flattened your layers. Maybe even lower the DPI and not add in a color management.
In any case, you mention fort builder 2.0 on the image but 0.2 in the description... So which is it? XD
Nice to see some photos! It seems like you guys have some interesting ideas for marketing. What is your goal with these tactics though?
Trello! Good place to keep notes that.
Wow how the hell did you achieve that?
Okay I'll bite.
How much work goes into working on the GUI? I've always been curious, but have never really tried to do so myself.
I'm specifically talking about that new form you created when looting parts from mutants, while I understand the "creative" process behind it, I do not quite understand the implementation of it into the actual game.
Nice and clean. Except for one thing, that typeface you are using does not seem very easy to read.Maybe change the smaller writing to a different typeface? This also adds to the frame of thought that it will be easier to recognize certain aspects of the UI.
Okay okay, the logo looks great here. Well done Beac and team, it's looking as polished as expected from you blokes.
Currently I gave them all away over xmas. So next time I have some... I will. Thanks.
AH I see! Now that brings me to Eveochron mercenary. Have you perhaps played that game? For a one person development team it is very ambitious. It has some really neat ideas with ship customization.
Either way, we get our inspiration from many places and many things around us. I'm going to try my best to keep following you guys and see how this all develops.
