Avid gamer! South-Africa's gaming scene is mostly focused on western games so games like S.ta.l.k.e.r is GOLD here! (For me at least)
Who of you guys actually know what the development stages of software is? I'm a alpha tester for a certain company and also help with beta testing in the field. The different stages of development go quite deep and become very complicated. So I was wondering who would like to know more about this?
Also who would know about a really neat way of communicating over the net, say for instance you are a group working on a mod, being able to track everything that is going on can be quite hard. There's a nice way of doing this though, for free.
Hi guys and girls.
So I thought I might as well create a little blog to rant and rave in about some random info.
First let me rant a bit about myself. I'm a young guy living in South-Africa, I have some random hobbies which include diving from waterfalls. I love art, especially the digital type! I'm a graphic designer by profession, not high ranking or anything but I believe my style of design is pretty unique and not too bad. Been doing it for about 5 years now, of which 3 years are professional.
I love playing games. I love the idea of just escaping reality and going into this virtual world where you can be what is impossible to be in real life. Like say a dragon slayer! Yeah...
So some of my favorite games include oldies and new ones such as:
1. Deus Ex
2. Unreal Tournament series
3. S.t.a.l.k.e.r series
4. Dragon Age
5. Command & Conquer series
6. Red Faction series
7. Space simulators such as Vega Strike
8. Half Life series
10. And probably a bunch of other games I can't think of.
I mostly play on computer using Windows OS. I don't own anything like a playstation although it would have been nice to have one.
Anyone have something to say? GO AHEAD!
