What I always found a bit weird about underground labs (and zone in a way), that there are still working light bulbs. Since there is not power source, why should there be electric light anywhere? Also, it would make undergrounds even more creepy if there was no light. Just a thought.
Hmmm...I might look into that and add it as an optional feature.
This was discussed a couple of times in the past. And to make it lore friendly it was decided that it was due to anomalies. These labs are all sort of "locked in time" and normal physics do not apply.
Fair enough I guess.
