I imagine they figured the Spirit was a good transport, but wanted to go more towards the transport/ gunship role like the Phantom. Spirit just never looked much like a weapon, but more of a utility.

You could always start a group, no harm in trying. Just advertise on the forums and such.

Why is it that the Ambassador is always set as the colony ship? Is it just how it ended up and continued to be? Or is there some actual lore behind it?
