Ahh I captured this in one of my games!

Needless to say the Pentastar Alignment graciously accepted the gift of a second executor to use is our totally neutral c̶o̶n̶q̶u̶e̶s̶t̶ peaceful aquistion of new worlds. :P

honestly I did not have time to play it very much, I only got to conquer my small star system, but I did not get lucky enough to see one of these.

Thrawn would have loved having two SSDs in my game, one to draw the fire while the other goes invisible and circles around the back to pincer them between two SSDs. No quarter.

Indeed an impressive addition. I have yet to come across it and now I want nothing more than to try and find it! :)

That defensive Executor was a major shock to me...
It basically destroyed my "backup" fleet that I was using to colonize one of the star systems...

I came across this in my first game using the mod. It was literally 1 planet from my starter capital, but since the defenses don't attack other planets it actually acted as a huge defense for my territory. ;D

Nice. That should be fairly rare, since they should spawn kind of close to the star to prevent it blocking anything, though on the small maps it might indeed happen to shield a major route to your territory.

Yeah, I think it was either a medium or medium-large random map, likely just medium according to what you said. One thing I did notice though, later on in the game I attacked them and when the capitals got heavily damaged they tried to escape. One did and warped to a neighboring system. Was this intentional?

I was thrilled when I saw this in game. By far my favorite random encounter, and the first thing I look for on random maps now. Great work!

Hi

Exactly what type of map can generate this planet ?Random standar or even the competitive version of the random one?

Need to have random event active?

Any random map other than Random Tiny maps will have a chance to spawn this planet. Either competitive or non-competitive maps will work, though competitive will get rid of bonuses and artifacts and things so I wouldn't recommend that if you're going to be exploring.

I will likely be releasing a version of the Galaxy Forge for Interregnum, and I will likely include a premade map that will always have Kuat with it. ;-)

Description

Now that a few days have past since the release of Alpha 2, I suppose its okay for me to reveal the last major bit of content that I kept secret for a few of you to discover yourselves. It is of course none other than our first Star Wars planet, home to the largest shipyards in the Galaxy, Kuat.

Home to Kuat Drive Yards, the manufacturer of virtually all the Empire's large Warships, Kuat is more well known for the massive shipbuilding facilities that orbit it than any feature on the planet. Most distinctive of these is the orbital ring that surrounds the entirety of the planet's diameter, and also contains most of the Kuati population.

In Interregnum, Kuat is a very rare planet that can appear on random maps, and it only has 1 chance to spawn per star system with players in it. It has tons of building slots for orbital structures and always comes with a bonus that lets you produce ships 35% cheaper and 70% faster, making it unrivaled as a factory world. It also contains a captureable structure, Kuat Drive Yards, which will let any faction build Executor class Star Dreadnaughts, allowing you to even get more than 1 titan (note you will not be able to rebuild your faction's titan if you own one of these extra titans).

However, capturing Kuat is easier said than done, with numerous Golan platforms, Star Destroyers and even an Executor in the defense fleet, it is by far the most heavily defended planet in the mod (thus far...).
