I put the 0x004030C0 bit in the Antialiasing compatibility setting in the F.E.A.R. profile in Nvidia Profile Inspector, and I changed Antialiasing - Mode to Override any application setting, and I set Antialiasing - Setting to 4x [4x Multisampling], and that worked for me. I'm going to test the Lite pack as well now, and if that doesn't work, I'll uninstall the mod for the time being. It's too frustrating, but the textures looked spectacular.

EDIT: Alt-Tabbing a few times helps when dealing with missing textures because of this mod, but I uninstalled it. The visual experience, clarity, and fidelity are lower without it, but the game looks excellent in vanilla anyway.

Hello. I tried to replay F.E.A.R. today, and there were many issues to tackle, but it worked for a while. I installed your HD Textures v2.0.2 mod and MMod. I also had some problems with soft shadows, but I gave up on getting them to work with AA enabled. The game mostly works, but this awful thing Imgur.com happens whenever an in-game in-engine cutscene plays, like the one with Alma's labor or when she evaporates the Delta Squad soldiers. It just turns into this changing white noise graphical glitch. Has anyone encountered the same problem and could you help me please? Thank you. Great job with the mod btw, it looks great so far, but I'll have to make a clean install if I don't solve this.

EDIT: I solved the issue. It was the MMod shader in Default.archcfg. Just remove the line FEARMModV2_SikkShaders.Arch00.

EDIT 2: A new issue. There are missing textures with HD Textures mod installed. I made a fresh install and installed your mod, and I don't know how to fix it. It's a real shame because the difference is very noticeable. Well, better luck next time.

EDIT 3: I finally looked into your ReadMe file. The minimum/maximum texture resolution switch fixed the issue, but now I can't get to Interval 02 because it crashes when I press a key after loading. New levels can be loaded by setting compatibility mode to Windows XP (Service Pack 2) for the executable, but it disables Steam Overlay. So I enable compatibility, load the new chapter, save and then disable it again. Sometimes it doesn't crash on chapter change.

EDIT 4: Sometimes, my gun models or other textures disappear, so I have to save and exit and maybe try the minimum/maximum switch. Sometimes the game crashes when saving or proceeding through the game. I should perhaps install your Lite version to deal with crashes, but I don't want to lose the visual clarity.

So yeah, this mod is totally worth it if you have the divine patience to deal with frequent crashes.

I know it's kinda late to ask for this but could anyone possibly adjust the mod so that it works with Doom 3: BFG Edition? That would be greatly appreciated by many people (not only the deaf community). I speak English very well but subtitles would still be a nice quality of life adjustment to the game.

haha you are kidding me. you cant design a mod to be a great experience for all kind of players and you are blaming me ? I shot all bullets avaiable to the heads, used all explosives and I still find myself with crowbar against 3 shotgun soldiers that can cause 300 damage in 3 seconds ...

Terrible work. The mod is too hard and is not fun at all.I died like 60 times in the first Combine attack, spawning the heaviest transhuman forces that early in the game is frustrating. Its just frustration when another 6 person combine squad rushes at you while you have one bullet left in 9mm, and oh-oh crowbar. And no weapon drops from the enemies ???!!! Are you kidding me ?! So Iam supposed to kill those two antlion guardians with my crowbar (i did with god mod)?! The level design doesnt exist, its just room, halway, ventilation shaft, sewers and CRATES everywhere god i wished they could contain some ammo. No story at all, and the ending whoah that sound almost got me killed good job. 0/10

its actually Source engine. you can see a skybox reflection in the window on the left side of the panorama. and they named it Map Panoramic - Transit

Whoever you are master Bortolina this is some goddamn awesome work. The design outclassed the Valve´s and is so genious and fun to explore. I hope Valve will offer this guy a job because its just great. Much more better than boring and overwhelming Minerva. The design is clear and it isnt overeffected. the last sequence with that vehicle was somewhat cheap but the ending was great and the zombie growl at the end was so fun :). Excelent use of soundtrack too. Oh god i want to cry how good this mod is

Hi! Why you cant use the original soundtrack from Half-Life to add to the atmosphere ? Is there any restriction given to you by Valve ? Because other mods use this soundtrack a lot.

great mod ! so many hidden jokes in it and it has great atmosphere, and the graphics are gorgeous.

frustration doenst make a good game kids. this map is pretty well unbalanced and frustrating and without story there is no point in playing this. 1/10 for zombies as they will always be awsome.

It was released but there is no download at all hah !
