Still think the damage tables are a little to far off, other than that though, The mod is coming along great.
And yes, I did try your latest release, Think im gonna stick with the UNSC though, they wiped out my covie fleet of 3 cap's, 19 cruisers and more frigates than I care to count :P
A good strategy that I use is to out last the enemy, Use small units backed up with artillery and rapid response type air strikers. Other than that just play like you wana win and you should out last your enemy.
Okay Im about to contradict my previous comment.
The UNSC Ships seem to not work in Albion Prelude, BUT only when the game has had other mods present. from what i can tell a blank install of AP and Gblro's mod will work "I Think".
Hey something just hit me. The Quarians... Are they going to be an arm of one of the rebellion factions or are they going to be their own faction?
If their own then how will they work? The Quarians cant find another planet fitting of their unique needs and are stuck in the migrant fleet so will the Quarian faction have mobile shipyards or some sort?
I know its a long shot but im a huge fan of the Quarians.
I assume that if you "port" any content at all the court bell rings so you need to custom make everything from the textures right up to the GUI, No?

Used all 3 ships for the UNSC in Albion Prelude and they work fine. Also looking forward to the release of the pelican, the detail on the Paris and long sword is almost biblical!
Im just gonna point out that i agree with Noobplayer, it seems as though a "Micro-Demo" may be in order. The amount of time that has gone past since your first release announcement is getting a little out of hand.
With a marginal off-set probably for accuracy balancing but yeah the shot does not appear to go any further than 3-4 degrees off the ships angle. so no pulling the trigger and firing a shell out your hanger bay XD
I have been following a few of Giblro's vids and he seems to have some sort of missle system for the UNSC as well as a working MAC gun mechanic.
After reading about the difference in raw model scale and in game scale, I'm curious how you are going to work the titans after you go to rebellion. Example, UNSC with infinity / covenant with high charity / forerunners with their Dreadnaughts? Or do you have something else in mind.

as a StarTrek Online player and being friends with a trekkie im hoping this mod will tide my friend over and give us a new place to nerd out about ST, Mod looks good and im looking forward to it.
Side note though, I just came over to Rebellion from Trinity and im in love with Rebellion so its gona be pretty hard for me to let go of vanilla rebellion :X

Wait wait, Jump drives cant be fitted to many of the smaller ships in X3.. That will kill the in-game economy as trade ships will become stranded. Maby instead of replacing the jump gates add jump beacons next to them but a safe enough distance so ships using them wont hammer the gates?
Edit: Although in the case of the mod replacing all other vessels with halo oriented ones that would add a need for fuel, Ha! Gblro you may have un-wittingly added a 3rd dynamic of realism to X3 :D
hmmm... Tough question, Ima go with, Thanatos Class destroyer. And yes it is relevant because i read about the halo wars story and apparently over Arcadia the Armstrong was supported by a Charon and a Thanatos.
Its okay guys, Gblro is just working out some of the bugs his friends reported in the Beta. In a way its better that it takes longer y'know?
Im not gblro but if it were me, The larger ships would need jump drives and a scout vessel to create the jump reception point. The mechanic already exists within the game, its just difficult to use.
weapons are acquired at weapon factory's or Equipment docks, that may be why you are having trouble :P
Say Gblro, as a bit of a heads up for us. Will we need to cheat the ships in or will they be available from selected races? like getting UNSC ships from the Terran's or Argon and Covenant from the boron or something?

yeah, I have already got a few video's out. My latest was about the Arma3 Alpha and its probably the most stable. Up until now i have been having trouble finding a routine in all the clutter that makes up my average day.

Uhm, Unikraken... He was just voicing a concern. Isnt it obvious? He seems interested in your mod enough to trust you and your team's judgment on his issue more than stardock. Spam questions i can understand but you just warded off a potential fan.

Hmm... I have been thinking. I know how to access the games built-in Galaxy editor. If your release includes at least a UNSC and Covanant Trade and Shipyard Station as well and a decent array of ships i may be able to set up a "Mini" galaxy, If i can figure out how to get it out of X3 i will send it to you. Anything i can do to help ^-^
All well and good but theirs already a canon ONI Prowler, I would prefer the use of 343 Industries rendition over a fan/book concept art. Im not saying this model is not good, its photo-realistic but Bungie passed the green flag on 343's prowler in halo legends. Maby swap it out?
