sorry, that typed out wrong. It looks like a picture, like taken with a camera, not a digital image. Like its a real model, made of plastic, not a textured mesh. Now I feel like a scumbag.

Yes I understand it's concept art, all I'm saying is that the texture work is just so different compared to what this mod has established for the style of the UNSC. To just randomly break style for one ship is kind of weird.

Finetuning colors and shading is still possible to match the black color of other UNSC ships and vice versa - and yet we can't see how much of a diffrence it will do with ingame shading inside SoSE.

It's because of the "curved" and "whooshing" lines. Because mos large scale UNSC craft are rather blocky and square, smaller craft that have to mimick life F19 fighters and the ilk tend to look rather alien. Which is stupid because F19s are designed for air flow, which is absent in space.... Aerodynamics at its finest

I think they will be stagnat bacause in the Halo Universe they stoped in front of fhe enemy and fired their MAC's and missiles. I think they even said in the book that space battles were like the old Napelonic wars where the troops stood in the open and shot each other.

I think that's actually the opposite of what the books say, Fall of Reach, Ghosts of Onyx and First strike all mention just how mobile ships are during combat. It makes no sense to stay still while you're being shot at past an infantry level, you're just making it far easier for the enemy to hit you.

Though i understand if that's not possible in Sins, not seen it in vanilla other than fighters.

I have a sacrifice of angels mod where the ships fly around during combat, so it is possible :)

They did move around but not in the way Sins portrays dynamic movement.

Not to nitpick but prowlers are painted black to blend in with space. But this is great since i dont want to spend time looking for the black on black ship with the void of space in the background. Mad props to Keksz

All well and good but theirs already a canon ONI Prowler, I would prefer the use of 343 Industries rendition over a fan/book concept art. Im not saying this model is not good, its photo-realistic but Bungie passed the green flag on 343's prowler in halo legends. Maby swap it out?
