I don't really understand, if they are both historical correct or historically inspired by art, descriptions etc. Then i can't see how anyone can claim you're "taking/stealing" their art.

Why is Nippon placed in the New World exactly?

The colours seam very saturated and plain, like very bright almost neon coloured blue and red with no highlights or shadows.

Also some of the normal and specular maps look very poor, like Medieval 2 kind of normal maps or worse.

Not trying to be mean, just constructive criticism. Do you have anyone good with textures and such, who could perhaps look into it?

Why is there no shadows?

If your PC can handle it, can you please try to put everything on max when taking a screenshot? It might lag, but the purpose of the screenshot would be to show people how good the game and mod looks.

I feel like you're doing a disservice to your mod and yourself, by not showing it in the best settings you can. And have it look as good as possible.

Although i am not sure if that is infact the case, sorry if it isn't. And im not trying to be mean, just some constructive critisism which will hopefully help :)

Im obviusly not going to tell you what to put in your own mod, im sorry if i sounded that way :)

I was just interested in hearing of the possibility of having a Corinthian helmet in the mod, and you made some good points on why you chose not to. And i respect that :)

I will look into how to add the OSP helmets into my game, and looking forward to more updates for this mod :D

I was under the impression that there where no real manufactories or army wide uniforms back then though, you used the equipment you made, bought or had with you. So somebody using his grandfathers Corinthian helmet dosn't seem too far fetched?

Also, not sure about you but i'v worn Corinthian helmets before and did not find them as clumsy as you and most others describe. Your eyes are quite close to the helmet opening, and don't obscure much of the view. Later Corinthian helmets also had openings around the sides for the ears, so you could hear perfectly and no real bell sound as your ears where almost outside the helmet with no parts covering your ears. The only real problem i noticed was not being able to see straight down at my feet, which i can't see the big point in doing anyway.

It's also funny that 1800 years after 400bc, the Barbute helmet started being used which has alot in common with the Corinthian helmet.

But it's your mod, so up to you :)
