Is this a constant effect or only with power to shields?

Just to give canon evidence for this, ISDs were supposed to carry a ground base to deploy (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Prefabricated_garrison_base) so one of those could work as a limited base of operations giving some upgrade options and sending reinforcements out from a building instead of dropships. But I trust we will be pleasantly surprised with whatever your magicians conjure up.

What will these guns sound like when they go off? I have always been fond of AA fire and the Bofors' CHUFF CHUFF CHUFF CHUFF from WW2 is still my favorite. Are these just going to be straight lasers/blasters or will they have a chemical/rail component like the broadside guns from RotS?

I WANT IT! Can we have it as a free release at the very least? It is too awesome to throw away. Besides, Star Wars is WW2 in space and there were several Allied designs put together at the end of the war for bombers to have tank guns mounted on them just in case the Soviets misbehaved. So having a fighter armed with an absurdly powerful weapon makes sense. Youtu.be

I always thought the Vindicator and this ship (figured the Victory name was just Battlefront misidentifying it) were based on the same hull. Sienar feels like the best home for it.

All these turrets remind of WW2 naval turrets. They are sufficiently killtastic. Will there be different turret types for each faction (Vong not included because they are weird)?
