This group is exactly what the name implies. A group for people who are Christians. If you're a Christian then please join us. We're a place on ModDB for Christians to gather and talk. It's as simple as that.

You're an intelligent and witty person, Matt. No wonder girls like you. You're the man. ♥_♥

God: Alright, Matt. I'll send you some reinforcements. Here's L-C-69, make good use of her. Just hold your horses, I haven't finished yet. Use her intellectually. She can be a powerful ally or a deadly enemy. She's like an apple in Eden... touch it at your own risk... and don't tell her I told you that. I don't want any trouble. Women are interesting creatures and I know that, cos' I made them myself. :D

So, you use titles/names to describe people. Who am I?

I would call you... The Seeker.

Of what I am uncertain... but you are in search of something.

Youtube.com - How far are you willing to go to solve some fiendishly difficult puzzles and find the answer to your question? Is it worth the risk? Could the benefit outweigh the risk? I may call myself an intrepid explorer driven by passion, emotions and instinct.

Perhaps this entity will answer my questions to some extent in this life-time or fully in 'after-life'. And even if this life is the only one we have, I'll be looking for answers till I die.

Thanks for this impartial response. You should be a mediator.

Are you a seeker as well? I guess humanity has similar questions, although as an individual, each person has a unique set of questions.

I think everyone is looking for something in one way or another... but yes I would call myself both a Seeker and at times a Guide (when people want one). I don't claim to be any kind of higher authority on anything but I help people out when I can, and try to answer their questions to the best of my knowledge and ability.

And, in the end, all you need is love - Fc06.deviantart.net ♥ but it's hard to find a suitable soul-mate. Modern relationships don't last long. I played the field and I had some temporary partners. I used to be a wet 'peach' if you catch my drift.

Nowadays I may flirt and have a brief adventure, but it's not what I truly want. Marriage seemed like a nice idea at some point, but somehow I backed away. And then, with other partners, I drifted apart.

And I'm not sure what I'm looking for after all. Well, I have countless questions, but I feel empty and numb at times. As though I've experienced pretty much everything. There's a time I merely look through the window wondering what's out there and then I come back to my daily activities and passions. And I have a temper, an emotional mambo jumbo that makes my life more interesting. :D

Men and Women in a nutshell - Youtube.com It's a fairly decent presentation, although we might elaborate on modern social norms. I don't want to be banned, so I'll put it mildly - Youtube.com :D

People may develop a deep empathy and an accurate perception, but we're still driven by basic emotions and insatiable desires. And once you've experienced nearly all things in terms of relationship and friendship, you just wonder what else can I do and how am I supposed to maintain everything I already have... it will not last forever.

Sometimes I think of such things and then, there I go, God love me! :D

Is there a neat adventure movie? Could you recommend me one? Please. :)

"Be careful who you hang around with lest you become like them."

That's Biblical Mattman.

Proverbs 13:20 "He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm."

They may be interesting conversationalists but don't make it a habit of hanging around them. These people can be a terrible influence for a Christian, and can do more harm than good.

Which is why unless you think your making progress with them, I advise you leave them be and just pray for them.

I didn't write the quote here, and no I don't make a habit of hanging out with Satanists so chill out mate, lol.

My point is merely that the judgmental attitude that a lot of people in this group cultivate is not healthy and it's certainly not encouraging trolls to leave the group alone.

I hate the back and forth that goes on between the Christian and Atheist groups here. It's pointless and childish. If each side would just leave people to their beliefs then we'd all be a lot better off.

I can agree with that to an extent. The thing we could do better here is don't "feed" the trolls by being childish like them.

Leaving a couple strong worded comments telling them to back off with the insults would be appreciated though.

You may be looking at it as pointless and childish but the fact of the matter is Satan has his agents and God has his, and the two cannot live in harmony.

That's like asking light and darkness to be peaceful with each other. It doesn't work. Best we could do is deal with them as seen appropriate when they come on this group. Either trying to convert them, or counteracting their statements with the Word of God.

And if their being just plain disrespectful, tell them to back off or just delete their statements. No one likes being cussed out or mocked on their own group.

And when I see outright trolling that has no positive discussion or other side effect coming from it I typically delete the comment/post.

But there's a fine line between combating trolls and censoring points of view. I like to keep the debate fairly open.

Understood.

I'm not for censoring points of view. If they can present it respectfully and in a decent manner I'll gladly talk with them about it. But if their going to use the discussion to mock and jeer, than I'd rather just terminate the whole thread entirely.

Agreed. Though on occasion even when someone just outright insults someone there can be an interesting discussion spawned from it.
