Some reasons that you should consider when thinking if you need to become evil, i mean, try a career at Electronic Arts, or not.
Did they mention ANYTHING about C&C? The largest and longest lived RTS series EVER? I must have missed it... :/
the only reason why EA is number 1 with gaming, is because they Buy out all of their Competetors... Westwood was a new kid on the block who started casting a shadow on EA. when Westwood said they needed help with Funds Ea steped in saying we'll help you, then later on completely eating the whole compony.
They bought them out because Virgin Interactive was going down and loosing it's place in the market. There was no eating; it was a transaction of titles, people, and IP for money - all owners received agreeable payment and AGREED TO SELL.
I still don't understand why people have such miscommunication about this; it's a cut-n-dry business practice.
this is EA EU not LA as far as I know LA is more on the C&C than EA EU
now this may be wrong but this seems a bit low-quality for EA (possibly fake?). also it ****** me off that they mentioned games they don't actually make, i'm not sure about burnout and black but the Sims series and Spore were and still are made by Maxis! EA is only the publisher. also EA LA was formed when Westwood was bought (as far as i know) so technically EA EU has nothing to do with it.
And how exactly do we "consider a career at EA"?

You apply... like any other Fortune-500 company. Send CV, coverletter, portfolio and demo reel to the HR department.
EA Games: Evil company that doesn't give a **** about their customers. They make ****** titles and call it a game. Same game every year with a few tweaks and there. EA is a sad excuse for a company and should be destroyed at all cost.

This is what the dude really means: Why should you join EA? To **** people off even more you ask? Indeed, we love to take the money away from the people and do nothing to help the people. We Were gonna patch some of our newer games till we decided to say **** it and make a new game with those same bugs. So if you want to join EA and become a money *****, go ahead and do so. Are motto is "**** the fans, love the money"
