Huh. I never thought I released this publicly, as I just slapped it together in one night for a project in my Intro to Digital Light Theory class a few years ago. I wasn't fully happy with it myself; kudos for digging it out somewhere.
Actually, it is the Orca from the mod; it's essentially the exact same asset with the original-size texture (1024x1024), and a few geometry fixes so that Maya interprets it correctly. Since the project wasn't a modeling class, I just used models that either I had already created (tent hanger, laptop) or I already had on my hard drive (TD's Orca model).
As I said before, I don't ever remember Tiberian Dawn releasing it as a promo image, so Sting2Death must have some ninja skills to have found that image lurking somewhere.
BTW I loved the work you've put up there, a neat website that reminds me of the 1990s (I personally love that).
I the UAN interface really caught my eye, and the "commandments" were quite humorous too.
BTW question of Curiosity, was that website lost? i.e. did you forget about it? I noticed the date is 2006.
Not actually lost per-say, as my current (as soon as I update it) portfolio is hurm3d.com. The website was basically a project done using simple HTML in 2005(actually started in 2004) for an intro to web-design class. I periodically updated it, but just left it un-updated as I worked on a more professional page that falls more in-line with my professional goals. Most of the work that I felt was worthy enough for the time being was carried over to the new page as I work on building more personal works and waiting for my freelance contracts to have their NDAs expire.
It's kind of interesting to note that people like some of the stuff on there that I felt didn't make the cut. I guess it's a case of "one man's trash is another man's treasure".
That orca looks really small comparing with the size of the person right behind it.
orcas where one man craft in td,at least i think they where, thats why the dude in the back looks big.
So GDI soldiers played TD in 1995 =D
nice one
PS: why the hell is the orca parked that way? in a surprise attack it wouldnt have enough time to turn around and go through the exit. :D

This will be Orca at your Tiberian Dawn mod? It looks awesome!
