Yea, I think Westwood's Generals was aiming for a Tiberian Universe war that was not between GDI/Nod (due to concepts being Tiberian in nature, and the Weapons here look GDI-ish) though I could be wrong,and I love GDI and Nod (Like Batman and the Joker) that would be kick ***.
From what I know, General's original story took place between Red Alert 1's Soviet ending (tying to Nod and Tiberium, while the Allied ending went to RA2) And Tiberian Dawn.

Westwood's Generals = the current; it was developed at WW Pacific after YR, and was later named to EA Pacific. The merge happened in March of 03, but Generals shipped in February.
The original designs called for Americans, Russian, Arab, European, African, and a "Khan" faction (plus probably a few more factions). It wasn't linked to anything at all. Africans were cut early, and same with the Euros/Russians. Khan was transitioned into China.
The only possible connections it has to the other series is that they used some of the concept work for the first iteration of CnC3 (before Incursion) that wasn't used for Yuri.

I cant understand why dont they released this one???WTF IS WRONG WITH EA GAMES????
