Hey there,
here is the 3rd compositing result of my scene
"The Key of Life".
The intention of the image is to show what is important in life (mostly for success), e.g. like never give up (the standart one I know ._.), but also some inspirational texts and quotes.
In the book there are some phrases written on two pages, you see the book is big and therefore there is place for alot of stuff.
The key symbolises the Key of Life giving you combined with the phrases the basis for success and life.
This is my first scene which went through modeling, texturing, light setup, rendering and compositing and I really like the result.
It teached me alot, which I'll use for more stuff.

The book seems a bit too "perfect" the pages lay on perfectly, the color of the pages is white and has no paper texture (I know there are these new book with nice matte pages, but still.. Though maybe that's just me )
Also, if you wanted to show the contents of the book (the quotes, wisdom etc.) you should raise the camera a bit and add more angle to it, because now the text is a bit hard to read. And there should be some stitches in the middle where the pages are connected.
So in short - add some more detail to the book (some imperfections, texture, stitches) Having a more natural paper texture would also make the image a bit warmer and it would nicely contrast with the blue key
But hey, in overall this image is awesome!

Well, there are some paper detials on the picture, but because of the (overused?) Color Correction it disappeared.
The Book shall not be the center of it, the Key should be, therefore it should pick out more than the text in the book.
But thanks for the feedback, will get that in mind for the next scene :) I might render the book from a more top angle, we'll see :)
