I think for a render like this you really need a texture for the floor and walls if you are going to do a leaning against the wall shot texture and mode look decent tho good work.
Aswell I would recommend to get some better lightning and may size up the quality of the render to make it look better.
Thanks for the suggestions. This was pretty much my first 3D model a year or two ago, so I did not know much about lighting. I still like the violin itself though, I spent a long time getting the shape right in Maya.
