Thats preety dam epic looking for a golfing map looks like something id play. for me tho it would be better if the island was on the sea rather than floating in the sky. otherwise awesome.

Good to see that beautiful games are coming along nicely ;)
But wouldnt it be pretty frustrating that the ball falls over the edge all the time, or is that some hard level map? Looks very cool btw!

yeh this is later level, but thats part of the challenge! a lot of levels are based on risk and reward and alternate routes, easier routes will have fences to stop your ball falling off, where as harder routes will require more skill and precision.

I love the floating island concept. Reminds me of Skies of Arcadia on the Dreamcast, one of my all time favorite RPG's. This looks like one of those mini-golf games that would frustrate the hell out of me. I've played a lot of them that ramp up to this level of difficulty. Either way, it looks nice.

Thanks for the comments! and yes i totally agree about there being many frustrating games using a similar concept, however through lots of play testing we intend to eradicate the frustration and basically produce a game everyone can enjoy and play.

When I seen the tumbnail I though it was the island from Gorillaz's El Manana.

Looks quite nice.

Yeh! Definitely inspired by the windmills, the island designs were mostly complete before I even remembered about the gorillaz video for reference, wish I had looked at it sooner really think I could of pushed the visuals even more.

What should look better? Nice textures, models and design.

The rocks could use more detailing and the grass too for example, the texture are just too plain and dull.

I agree with this to an extent, the lack of normal maps made it very hard to really pop detail out of the rocks, but for the sake of getting it on an iPhone i had to have a trade off.
