The basic idea in creating this game is to bring realistic gaming to a new level. Game goal is to carefully recreate the events of August 2008, during the brief war in Georgia. One of the main goals is to create documentary project, following historic and personal records of the aforementioned events. Game development team is dedicated to create new balance and gameplay with interesting missions and places which include unique elements of the society on which them are based.

After months of work our programmer had finally managed to work out under barrel grenade launchers.
As you know, GEM engine strictly forbade to have secondary weapon on a rifle. One rifle = one weapon. There were attempts to overcome this by having 2 rifles on a soldier, one firing grenade, one firing rifle ammunition.

We now have functional grenade launcher. Currently we have AK-74 with GP-25 which is working but planning to add even more. Principle of work is quite simple:

1. select a soldier that carries AK-74 with GP-25 (another good thing is that whole operation is not linked to a soldier but to the rifle itself so any soldier can fire it)
2. select appropriate action (grenade launcher)
3. click on a place to fire there

Or you can take direct control and click right mouse button (to load the launcher) and left mouse button (to fire it). Simple and effective. And most important thing is: as soon as you fire it you can fire assault rifle ammunition, as visible here:

We also plan on some GUI enhancements to ease up exploitation of this new feature. This will surely change multiplayer a lot, no more super squads armed with RG-6. Grenadiers are now in their true form.

We dont know if this game is even in development at this point. :O
Probably, but their lack of communication is concerning.
I dont think the devs understand this is not 1999 anymore. They dont need to finish their game in their basement and only tell whe world when and if they made a perfect game.(this wont happen)
This is the age of indies, if you dont have the money, you kickstart, greenlight, early access it, develop it mission by mission, unit by unit, people wont mind. People will buy everything and anything if it has promise.
If you dont have enough helping hands, get the community involved, there are a lot of talented MoW modders, hell people will help with the game just for lulz, and to see it get finished.
But the first thing the have to do is communication: LOOK PEOPLE WERE NOT DEAD! WERE STILL MAKING THIS GAME AND IT WILL BE GLORIOUS! Look at this AK74 model i have been making for the last three months!(only new asset too) - And people will rant or rave, but will buy the Early Access version regardless.

GameSpy will shut down its servers on may 31. Will you adopt a new multiplayer system in place of the GameSpy support that comes with GEM2 engine out of the box, or will you scrap multi/coop play altogether?

Ведь на самом деле не кто не просит чего то выходящего за пределы этого конфликта, но за три года даже до релиза закрытой альфы не дойти, это не понятно (мягко говоря)

After all, is not really who does not ask what it is outside of this conflict, but for three years, even before the release of the closed alpha is not reached, it is not clear (to put it mildly)

It is possible they are working on this as a side project, or working on it in their free time while they try to make a living doing other stuff. It is clear they dont have financial backing done by a publisher.

Maybe they are also working on Crimean expansion pack. Or saw the Wargame Red Dragon naval trailer and want missile cruisers in it too. ^^
We rarely see ships used in GEM engine games. :(

Now that the games development is dragging on you might as well change the subject to the upcoming ukrainian civil war to make it more fresh and exciting. ^^ Though you would need some new art assets in case of a EU/NATO intervention.
