The basic idea in creating this game is to bring realistic gaming to a new level. Game goal is to carefully recreate the events of August 2008, during the brief war in Georgia. One of the main goals is to create documentary project, following historic and personal records of the aforementioned events. Game development team is dedicated to create new balance and gameplay with interesting missions and places which include unique elements of the society on which them are based.
An interview took place with Men of War Center website. Cool thing is that website got new look, design and content and our interview was amongst the first content released. Questions included our goals, some interesting questions concerning the storyline and content and technical things.

Our development team was very honored to participate in our practically first interview. More over it was very nice that MoW community portal was the one to ask questions - after all, questions are always best asked by the community, by those who will play our game. And to add on top of it, we have discovered how unknown our project was to the wide community - which this interview and our presentation on the ModDB is aimed to change.
Our development team wishes to thank MoW-Center for their time and wonderful opportunity given to us. We present you introduction to the interview below:
"Few years ago Men of War community was surprised by mysterious screenshots showing modern Russian military equipment with unknown logotype. Their quality was similar to Men of War one or based on same game engine like other games in this series. There were a lot of speculations about this game or modification or whatever those screenshots showed. Later on no more information were found. Everything were changed few days ago because same screenshots were posted on ModDB page in section about games based on GEM 2 engine. Few hours later there were more screenshots posted, which showed completely new game – War Today: Five-Day War about war in Georgia in 2008. This game is developed by AARRE Games Ltd company, and it’s not connected with creators of Men of War game series, but it still shows great quality or even higher quality then Best Way products. I’d like to invite You to read an interview with Eduard „Akella” Moskalenko the Team Leader of AARRE Games Ltd and Aleksander „Alex” Djokic about game War Today: Five-Day War. "
