"EOS-04-01. You know when I first saw this thing during the shakedown run, I thought the Executives up in Sigsawa had gone nuts. Which didn't bode well for a organization that sold ideas.
I keep telling myself today it isn't a sound idea, that it's a dramatic waste of resources that might've otherwise not made the ████████ ███████ such an important place nowadays. However no one seemed to think the same when that damned thing took down five god damned battlegroups of mercenary naval stock when a Sigsawa competitor tried to make a statement.
Anyway, given recent events regarding the EOS platforms, my report of EOS-04-01 is as follows:
EOS-04-01 comes from the same steel yards and minds as the other EOS platforms, the Ziz, the MRISA, and the Mazikeen to name a few of its brothers.
Several of the more prominent naval commanders I'm in contact with do note that EOS-04, and indeed all offshoots thereof, are labeled in their IFF systems as a 'cruiser'.
I'm inclined to say that is an understatement. Outsizing even the Sovermenys and the Nimitz-class carriers in active service, I'm not even sure that any existing classification of naval ship can fully summarize what EOS-04 is.
Dreadnought more like it.
Now the most striking thing about EOS-04 is no doubt its size, but also there's a lot of bite to it, because of it.
As demonstrated during the shakedown engagement, you can blow off entire sections of it and the blatant redundant hull system it has will keep it afloat and bring to bear the still classified amount of CIWS and missile launcher ports it has.
Backtracking through the original source documents back in Sigsawa's drafting room, this is the ultilmate realization of the arsenal ship type, even if it wasn't originally designed as such...." -Legionnaire ███████ "Katsu" ██████, in response to an inquiry by ███ ████████.
When I drew out a scale line of the Karel Doorman and stacked it next to the Leviathan, it came out being 12 and a half hulls; just over 1,500 meters.
Man, do i love giant aicraft!
That's a boat.
... so?
And not a plane.
thats one hell of a big ship
Uh...I...have to go talk to my friend Ivan.
He had a really great deal on this late Cold War era Soviet Truck. Even came with the original cargo and everything!
We'll have to see what CRADLE and Cerin come up with to match this...
Tell me if there's some kind of EOS that is as big as a Worldship.
Magog Worldship from Andromeda?
Planet-sized ship, I mean.
It's like an Aigaion, only in the seas!
Only needs obligitory discount Strigon Squadron to go with it, then it'll be perfect!
