This is the paint job of an ace pilot known as Prometheus (FB-22A) featured in Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War.
1. Proteus*
2. I kno you could not possibly know this, but.. the pack I'm making already has this.
I'm not exactly happy about that much, but.. then I realize mine's probably more historical anyway - Proteus is a yuke.
1. lawl, you're right. My bad. Will fix this... probably.
2. I don't see the problem. There are at least 3 Mobius F-22A's uploaded here.
I know that this SP color is on the Yuke plane in-game. However, I was not aiming for 100% accuracy (except for the Mobius, which I've based on the ACAH version), and I feel that YAF markings on a western 5th gen look out of place. So I went for OADF instead (since there is an OADF version in the game for Blaze) and YN tail code from "Reprisal" to mix things up a bit.
Besides, even if I were to create tha YAF version, we don't exactly see Prometheus' tail code, what kind of insignia he's got and how they are arranged.

While this is a cool skin to grab for a growing collection of AC skin mods, I have to ask, since I haven't flown the FB-22A yet, is that afterburner exhaust modded?
I wanted to do something like this, even as far as diversifying plume colors, but I've never been able to find the exact effect to modify.
Yep, that looks modderized.
I have no idea where you should start.
I did figure out that you edit ring_flare.png in the particle folder. This is, however, only part of the answer.
There's either another effect I need to change or some sort of script, as the middle of the plume was still orange when the beginning and end sections were the purple I modified the file to be.
A tutorial about that wouldn't be a bad idea.
I'll release the modded afterburner on Sunday/Monday and write a quick guide on how to do that.
Green afterburners ahoy!
Tried it, looks meh in-game.
I'm still going to make Green afterburners, I just like green :P
