In 1986, the world's worst nuclear disaster occurred at the Chernobyl power station. Soviet authorities established a 30km 'Exclusion Zone' around this nuclear wasteland, but in 2006 a second explosion rocked the stricken reactor, obliterating all living things and causing the Zone's boundaries to ripple outwards. From this epicenter came waves of mutated creatures, deadly radiation, and a strange, anomalous energy. The Zone was cordoned off by the military, who would shoot on sight anyone foolish enough to brave the horrors within.

If you enjoy all three stalker games and often play mods for them but get tired of downloading and playing something just to find that it's not what you were expecting, it's full of bug's or it's unfinishable then there's a gent going by the name of The Reviewer who's making a collection of written reviews you may want to check from time to time as he continues to build up his collection.

Wow, that CS base game review? Either he didn't patch it properly, or every single random bug you could occasionally experience in a playthrough he somehow managed to get.
Then again, it was done with a starter pack, so that might have had something to do with it.
