a brilliant game of its time, i would call it a more serious alternative to the Age of Empires- and Empire Earth-series.
i personally like the worldconquest mode which seems to combine R.O.N. with the tabletop-strategy-game Risiko -> AWESOME!

Very hard!!!! I don't know why!!! Strong Hold Crusaders was better!!
Its pretty easy for me, also I don't think this was made by the same company as Stronghold Crusader.
