It is a mod manager with some mods with it. The most awsome is the reconstructor mod. It gives a weapon, which is able to reconstruct any destroyed building.

This game is remarkably similar to a series of books named the Mars Trilogy. Those books are also about terraforming and a group of rebels called "Reds". They must have taken a good deal of inspiration from those and with for a good reason too, they are awesome! ;-)

there are some mods not big changes at Factionfiles.com but they are mods none the less one gives you a file manager for the game and like five or six mods that come with it
