Red Alert: A Path Beyond brings the exciting storyline and epic clashes from the classic Westwood Studios game, Command & Conquer: Red Alert to realm of first person shooters, with a twist. We've remained loyal to the style and feel of the 1996 classic, while integrating content from its expansions Counterstrike and The Aftermath with a bit of updated history to add to the mix. Built off the W3D engine Westwood Studios built for classics such as Earth & Beyond and Command & Conquer: Renegade finished up in 2001, we help bring the fight to you as you play out your role as any one of a number of infantry classes participating in team-based combat that often involves land, sea, and air combined-arms clashes that just don't happen in any other game. Oh, and did we mention it's FREE?

Music Update: The Meat of Vengeance Chicajo is back, and has brought a lengthy new track with him for RenAlert. This one weighs in at about 7 minutes long, but you'll love every second of it. It sounds professional, and would fit in well with any current map. Download the track directly from here, then

  • New Additions
  • We're considering adding two new units, and one new Structure. All three new addition will be for the Allies side. They're as follows:

    -Gap Generator:
Since how the Gap Generator in Red Alert couldn't work exactly the same way in RenAlert, we'd have to change it up a bit. Any friendly unit within the Generators range will turn invisible to enemy units. However the Gap Generator has limited range so it wouldn't cover an entire base, and it's very weak so it could be easily destroyed.

    -Mobile Gap Generator:
This would work exactly the same way as I stated above, only on wheels. Perfect for coordinating rushing, anything that hangs close to the Mobile Gap Generator will remain invisible to enemies. It's downfalls are that the unit itself stay visible, and it still weak.

    -Radar jammer
Just like in Red Alert, when you get close to the enemy radar with this vehicle, it will be turned off. Thus the enemy will be unable to see incoming units on the radar.

Also, the Soviet Tesla Tank will act as a small mobile Radar Jammer. The electricity it produces interupts nearby Radar Waves.
