New version of IPSA containing pathfinding fixes so that people no longer get stuck on buildings.
A strategy-arcade hybrid created for Ludum Dare 23. Reach the required distance to escape while fending off aliens, asteroids, and the plague! This game is open source software!
I finally added pathfinding to my Ludum Dare game from April. Hopefully this will end a lot of problems with the game, the biggest being that people would commonly get stuck on buildings.
The pathfinding solution actually uses Game Maker's built-in paths, so I'm not sure how reliable they are just yet, but I'm giving them a shot in IPSA, and if they don't work out, I'll find a new solution for later projects.
If anyone notices any other oddities, leave a comment, and I'll fix it right up. :)

Okay, sorry to say that I dealt with "asshole PR guy" privately for now and, should he escalate things, I'll re-evaluate that decision.

To divulge the name or not to divulge the name...that is the question.

@objectiverodeo Best part is, the "disingenuous" comment refers to him shrugging off involvement with the game when I sent him the review.

Wish I could write about this alpha. Oh well. I'll be having fun playing it with @KatarinaKlick.

@SentaiBrad To be fair, I rarely ever just outright browse YouTube, let alone check the two people I might actually be subscribed to.

@SentaiBrad The other is just general news from the east. Game releases I would have never heard of, penguin cafes...whatever's going on.

@SentaiBrad Nope. One of two things I read Kotaku for is their video choices.
