The Evion project is a first person shooter set in the near future. Evion is planned to be a competitive team based multiplayer game, with a built in clan system allowing players to quickly form a group to play with, and a ranking system for each player and for a clan as a whole (each with there own separate ranks) Players will be able to create there own player character and there own design of the clans uniform to allow them to truely look like a military squad. On top of this the game is based strongly in realism with a player being able to be taken down in a few shots. Our aim is to have maps large enough to allow long range and tense shoot-outs which come down to positioning and team work rather than the close up spraying shoot outs seen in many other games. We hope that even with the high level of realism we are aiming for with the damage and the shoot outs we are still able to keep true to a more science fiction setting. we also hope to be able to have a large number of maps which cover all of Europe to give the players a feeling of the scale of this war.
