The demons came and the marines died. Except one. Your are the last defence against these hell-spawned hordes. Prepare for the most intense mutant-laden, blood-splattered action ever! The texture-mapped virtual world is so real, you don't just play DOOM - you live it.
Shotguns with explosive shells, rockets that unleash cluster explosions, and guns that send out streams of destruction? You may be asking yourself what the hell you're playing, but I don't even know myself at times. And, what's that? Randomly generated placements of monsters, powers, ammo, and weapons? Man, this mod will never be boring, you must be thinking! Well, play and decide for yourself!
Basically, I got bored and made this. As of the first version I show on ModDB (V1b), I've edited various weapons, made SSG become something I call HSG, normal shotgun became more powerful, my own versions of Railgun and BFG10K, and made a deadly weapon I like to call the Flood Gun.
There's also 4 classes: Soldier (vanilla), Brawler (tank), Runner (speedy and easy-to-break), and Tactician (our glass canon class). Each class has their own abilities for the alt on every weapon.
Multiple decorations were edited to be breakable and/or more glowy. Ammo pickups give more than normal. It's possible to get a tome of power sometimes in spots where you find powerups, but it's pretty rare. (yes, tome of power from Heretic)
I'll keep making more and more as I go along, hopefully creating something everyone'll enjoy in the process. Oh yeah, also, this has random spawners and all the enemies are buffed.
You need either Zandronum or G/ZDoom to run this mod since it uses their scripting features and I don't think the other DooM source ports have these. Those two are the most common anyways, though, so you most likely have them if you have DooM.
Some New Weapons This mod has include: Hyper Shotgun, Cluster Rocket Launcher, Laser Chaingun, and Plasma Shotgun.
