Blaze is a retro/minimalistic styled sci-fi first person flight/shooter action game. The game can be played almost single handedly with just mouse. It's about shooting a lot of alien things (in semi-randomized missions?). The alien things are trying capture all your base, and have already captured at least half of it. You have to defend the base and capture the alien controlled areas back. Or something like that...
Gives 20 energy for player. The energy is used as a basic shield and with the special powers.
40 tris. 128x64 texture.
Maybe I'll tweak the texture a bit.. brighten some of those darker lines. Although I feel like I spent way too much time with it.. and it's such a simple object... pretty sure I tweaked the UV map at least 2 hours...
i cant ******* wait why dont u give us a demo or something
My plan has been to release a demo within 3 months... and then after 3 months I feel like it wasn't good enough, and start it like almost from scratch all over again (and again). Uhh... Maybe I'll succeed this time...
Another cool item - the icon on the side (on right in image) reminds me of an SG-1 ZPM.
(That or an atari vcs adventure maze...)
I am curious to know if you are going to allow mods?
Cool :) Though I feel like I made the UV map too good, and wouldn't want to bother with this much tweaking in later models.. Like if this was the only model without texture distortion, it would look a bit out of place...
About mods, don't see any point denying, not that there's much point starting a mod for this now...
The distortion works.
Can you make a linear filtered mode like in Duke Nukem Megaton Or Shadow Warrior Redux? I'd hate to play the game with all these blocky textures.
