BlackSoul - Demo For Windows
Jun 3, 2013 Demo 10 commentsFinally.... time has come to download the first BlackSoul demo.

BlackSoul is a third person survival horror with an intriguing story that takes place somewhere in the English countryside: people has been turned into psychotic killers by an unknown infection and you must try to help Ava and Sean to survive in the quarantine area and find out the truth about the infection. You won't spend all your time in a killing spree, but you'll need to solve a lot of puzzles which will give you a hard time.
The story is set in England in 1972. Forget any government research labs in which they're working on some kind of ultimate weapon, instead think of something much more sad and cruel... and even if the story is not based off of a true story, we'll tell you about some events really happened in the mid-century.

Hi everyone,
it's now time to play the BlackSoul demo for Windows: you'll find it here.
You'll play Ava through two distinct locations, the cemetery keeper's house and only a bit of the cemetery itself: more than one hour of fighting and great puzzles.
Naturally we're still working in order to balance fighting and equipment so don't worry about this ( there will be four different levels of difficulty ).
At the moment only mouse and keyboard are supported ( gamepad will be added later ).
INSTALL
To run the demo unzip the content, install "aolinst.exe" and then launch BlackSoul.exe.
NB: Radeon users have to run PhysX_9.10.0513_SystemSoftware.exe if they don't have Nvidia PhysX installed on their computer yet.
You can also change resolution launching the S2Configuration.exe: check "letterbox" if you don't have a standard 16:9 screen ratio.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
CPU: dual core or higher ( Intel or AMD )
RAM: 2gb or higher
GPU: 512mb opengl3.2 or higher ( integrated card and Intel chipset not supported )
HDD: 500mb of free space
OS: Windows Xp, 7 and Vista
Finally.... time has come to download the first BlackSoul demo.

If you were having trouble with the planet puzzle then this will most likely help you :)There will be more parts in the future but since I have got personal messages asking how to solve the puzzle I thought it would be best to put in on this page :) Sorry for spamming I don't usually do it :/

Hey nice game i liked it very much! But i have a problem while playing demo whenever i try to use a key on any door my computer gets that blue screen and gets restarted...
We need some more info... try to use a key and when the system has started up again send a mail to info@xeniosvision.com with a description of your computer and the file S2Engine.html, which is in the game folder, in attachment ( after the game has crashed DO NOT restart it until you've sent us the S2Engine.html file ).
It restarts automaticaly...
I think you mean operating system restarts automatically and not the game, at least I hope... when the OS has started up again ( after the game crashed ) you should send the "S2Engine.html", which is in the game folder, via mail to info@xeniosvision.com, so that we can try to fix the problem. Anyway try to update the drivers of your video card first.
I updated the video driver but still the sam thing, so i sent you an email with "S2Engine.html"...
We can't make the engine open source cause it's by www.profenix.com . At most, obviously in the future, we might make open source some scripts in order to help those who want to use S2Engine, but it's not our priority at the moment.
