Automation allows the player to become an armchair CEO - to build their own car company from the ground up. Create and run anything from a boutique supercar manufacturer to a mass-market multinational mogul.

With powerful tools like the Engine Designer, the player can create cars and their engines in mind-boggling detail.

The grand campaign starts in the year 1946 and runs until 2020, with the main goal being to build a successful, renowned car company from scratch. All types of car manufacturers can be led to success if managed properly; building the right image over the years is key.

The player’s tasks are to design engines and cars, to manage factories, production, R&D, as well as advertising campaigns. In game, time advances at the pace the player chooses and pauses automatically for events and occurrences.

Automation is comprised of three major game components - the Engine Designer, the Car Designer and the Company Manager.

These components are naturally strung together by the game’s goals, made to be user-friendly and intuitive to use.

A multitude of tutorial missions, videos, and descriptive texts help car novices become experts.

Almost infinite options give the player all the creative freedom to create unique cars with vastly different engines.

After a few delays, caused partially by the fact that we've moved ourselves and our company from Melbourne, Australia to lovely Wellington, New Zealand. Update B1362 is now out as a public release.

New Features

A lot more car stat calculations, the foundations for how the cars will be evaluated in the Tycoon aspect. New stats include:TamenessSportinessComfortPrestigeSafetyMore options and controls added. We are more or less at the final design of all designers.A new test track mode. Where the car is driven virtually around a track from a birds eye perspective.Custom Tracks can be made, check the forums for player made tracks and competitions.New bodies added.

Bavarian Rally Challenges

To take advantage of the new test track features, our car physics expert Der Bayer is running a set of rally challenges. Build cars to various class specs and try for the best stage times down a challenging set of stages. Details can be found in the video and forum thread below

What's Next?

Next project is further work on the car designer and will focus on some of the stats that are still missing, such as Cargo Space, Off Road Ability, Passenger Space etc.  It'll also add some car design scenarios, visual feedback on ride height and some more car bodies.

Will there be an option to test the car on road?

No, there won't be that option.
If you want to drive cars, choose another game, because they are only a 3 devs team and they prefer to concentrate on the tycoon part/car designer/engine designer.
It is the answer of the devs in the forum.
Adding a testing part or driving your "created" cars would require too much time and attention in order to develop a good physics/driving engine.

Errr.. you've been misinformed there. It would cross at 5252 if it was in HP and Ft-Lb, if it's in kW and nM it will cross over at 9549
