Automation is a car company tycoon game. You decide the direction your company will take, run a small small exclusive sports car firm or a large multinational corporation hell-bent on world domination. You can enlist the help of your friends, or pit your skills against them.
Within Automation you design and build cars from scratch to satisfy different desires of customers. It is you who designs everything from the very core that is the engine, over the chassis, to the suspension and the car's looks.
Several games have tried this before... but were able to merely scratch the surface of the depth of the world of cars.

Will you optimize the game for total newbies who know nothing about car mechanics? Because I would barely know if this engine is better then that by vague statistics only.
Yup, the whole thing is meant to teach you how it all works if you don't know - its got tutorial videos, descriptions of what all the parts do, simple overview of what does what, etc etc.
i cant visit the site, the connection gets reset when i go.

Hah, that would be cool, but we have our plate full with normal engines, even diesels and wankel rotaries won't be in the first version of the game
I see, I'll just have to wait 'til the game is released and maybe there will be a patch which introduces gas turbine engines, imagine a Hummer H2/3 look-alike with a gas turbine engine ^^
