These are the veteran spearmen for the Roman faction.
What I don't like is that they all look the same. Some variations in animations or outlook would be nice. I see shield are different but that's not enough.
They have a few variations in helmet (well, the stuff ON the helmet) and also some have red skirts vs white ones, some have red vs white stuff or not at all the thing on their shoulders.
But yes, they look very similar still. Doesn't bother me though, but we're all different
They're the elite of the Roman Republican army, of course they're going to look similar :P If you think that this is bad, wait until you see an Imperial Legion...
The Romans will have fewer variations in their units than the other factions.
Looks great
The last dude looks completely clueless on how to work with his mates in the legion.
Brilliant!
He's the stinky kid in the legion. XD
so these guys counter cavalary?
or will these guys be able to counter infantry since i believe were old grizzly war veterans that made up the Trairii
The triarii rarely ever actually fought. If they did, then it meant the Hastati and Principes had failed and were withdrawing. The triarii performed a holding action while the rest of the army retreated.
Rem Ad Triarios Redisse :D
