Intro

Hey there! Welcome to this week's roundup of the YouTube, where we showcased a trailer and a total conversion that, some would argue, is a better way to experience that gameplay than the title its based on!

Monday - Playthrough - Half-Life: Z-Virus

Counter-Strike Nexon is a strange case of the CS license being utilised by other developers, and is not generally, unfortunately, held in very high regard despite its bombastic action. Everything's better when you put it in Half-Life, though, and this modder has done just that by building a new campaign retelling Nexon's shreds of narrative within Half-Life instead for an experience far better received by fans.

Thursday - Trailer - Retroninjacyberassassin

Retroninjacyberassassin puts you in the shoes of Legion of Order unit 6617 as he goes rogue and attempts to stop Cybersoul Corp from acquiring the final remaining independent media outlet in the world. A fast-paced 80s and early 90s styled, retro-inspired, beat 'em up Retroninjacyberassassin will in the long run be a standalone game.

New Map in Progress

Friday - Playthrough - S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Chernobyl

Before ANOMALY, there was Call of Chernobyl - a huge, all-encompassing mod for STALKER: Call of Pripyat which aimed to revitalise the game and build a fresh, familiar, and altogether more refined experience for the fans of the game. It still holds its own quite happily today, remaining just as remarkable as the day it first came out and having plenty to engross brave souls venturing into the zone.

That's all for this round-up. What do you think about the mods listed? Feel free to discuss below and check out the YouTube for more videos past, present, and future!
