Microsoft XNA is a set of tools with a managed runtime environment provided by Microsoft that facilitates video game development and management. XNA attempts to free game developers from writing "repetitive boilerplate code" and to bring different aspects of game production into a single system.

Our showcase of "Protein Pirates!" for our entry into the IGF this year. Game play is from the first organ "They Tummy Gut" and shows the base mechanics of the game.

We created a short video showcase of the features in Protein Pirates! for the IGF this year. In the video we run through the levels found in "The Tummy Gut", show the decay of the organ as you kill it, and give a small glimpse of the first boss! All the base mechanics can be seen in the video and will be expanded upon as you progress through the game. Enjoy and let us know what you think!
