Dark Craft Studios company

Dark Craft Studios was founded after the release of the mod, "The Worry of Newport", by members Glenn Winkelmann Jr. and Jason Daysh. Afterward the studio would go on to attract many new talented members and begin bilateral design on two mods at the same time almost exclusively. We are a Cryengine development team oriented towards the creation of mods. We primarily work in the horror genre (Triptych, The Worry of Newport), but are also focused on creating polished science fiction experiences (Sapience).

Our development strategy is to focus on story, atmosphere, and immersion first to create the most authentic experiences possible while delivering a AAA production quality.  We are a bilateral studio with each of the two co-founders heading development of primarily different types of mods, aiding each other in level design or writing fields.
