This is a separate addon that works on Call of Misery. The original addon ( Moddb.com ) works on Call of Chernobyl.

This is outstanding, thank you so much.

Edit : I'm not seeing all the fast travel locations, some are missing in places I have been (Yantar) but mostly they are missing from places I have not yet been.

2nd Edit I have travelled to some of the missing ones and they do not appear or unlock... any advice appreciated :/

That was odd. It works fine for me with the latest version of CoM (1.0d fix 2). Nothing regarding the fast travel system has been changed since 1.0d.

I have got the same issue as Cheeki , any suggestions ?

Looking at the log provided by Cheeki, it appears the issue is caused by an incompatible map_spots.xml. Are you using any mods that happen to change the map_spots.xml? More fast travel locations are meant to be used with the vanilla file.

hmm I have call of misery, the English patch, armory overhall and toska models.
I reverted the 2 overwritten files and the game works again, then I read that the default fast travel has to be manually set to TRUE so ive done that aswell and I am currently trying to find out if I can discover zones to fast travel to, otherwise I think ive messed up the install somewhere along the line.

The map_spots.xml is integrated into the database. In order to check whether it is there you need to extract the database using the database converter: Moddb.com

First of all, make sure you are using the 1.0d fix 2 version of COM.

You could try using the mod without the modified fast_travel.script file and only using the faction_quick_travel.ltx. This will make you need to manually discover all the fast travel points, but it might make you avoid a crash (in the case there is something in the modified script being incompatible with your game). In case you try it out, feel free to tell me if it worked or not, as it would be very useful for me to know.

So I did as you said, didn't find any of them in the Army Warehouses, Dead City, Bar or Garbage (my version is 1.0d fix 2, since you said to make sure.)

My bad, I forgot to mention that without the script-file you need to be standing on a fast-travel location and then save+reload save in order for the marker to appear. It is a bug in the vanilla fast-travel system in CoC/CoM that is fixed by the script file.

I suggest you start a new game as a Clear Sky member, then start at their main base in the swamp, this should make the marker in that base appear instantly as you load in. Then run out and stand in the middle of the Fishing Hamlet, reload save (this should make a marker appear at the Hamlet) then try fast-traveling back to the main base and back to the Hamlet.

Nothing...No marker for the main base and no marker for the Hamlet...

Alright, that does seem to indicate that the built in fast travel feature somehow is missing in your installation.

May I ask, where did you install CoM from? And what version was your original install (aka since what version have you been using patches to update)?

Also, if you have the time (and HD space) you could extract the CoM database using this database converter: Moddb.com

Then go to unpacked/configs/ui and check for map_spots.xml, if you have the file open it and check if there is a fast travel section at row 110. (If you are using an editor that does not show row-numbers, you can use Windows Notepad and enable an indicator under "View").

If the files, or the fast travel section of the file, is missing, then we can confirm that your install is different from what this addon was made for.

If you want to get the version that I am using (which does have the vanilla fast travel feature built in) I used the official procedure described on the CoM webpage, which is:

1. Download CoC 1.4.12 Moddb.com

2. Patch it to 1.4.16 Moddb.com

3. Download 1.0d fix 2 and install in over CoC 1.4.16, overwriting any files. Moddb.com

Ill do that. (i will download what you gave me, the database converter is too much for me at this point {i am tired af})
As for COM, i got it from the 'official' russian site and got the translation

It ******* works! I think i know what i did wrong...I just remembered that i didn't update to 1.4.16 before COM. THank you a lot man! Good luck and have a good day! <3

Im glad you got it to work. It seems very likely that not having CoC 1.4.16 before installing CoM 1.0d was the issue, since the fast travel feature was added in patch 1.4.16. Good day to you aswell!

hmm, it seems that 'fast_travel.script' crashes my game when I load my save, if I removed that file the game works but I cannot see any locations, and I dont have the fast travel settings in my menu.

ok found the Fix, need to re-apply the 1.4.16 CoC Patch, then this mod over it, now I see the green houses, fast travel works perfectly :)
very appreciated .
just one thing tho, I am not seeing the fast travel settings in loaded save menu, is that normal for CoM ?

The menu setings are not in the CoM version of the addon, they are only in the CoC version. The CoC version was updated with these features (currently v8), while this addon has remained on the same level as v4 of the CoC-addon.

I will update the description to mention this, as the statement "It does exactly the same thing as the Call of Chernobyl-version" is no longer true.

Is it possible to add the "visited only" option on this version?
even if it has to be toggled with a text edit

Please add options like some Call of Chernobyl mods where you can change in settings, things like "fast travel when over encumbered" or discovering locations to fast travel and stuff like that.
