This package will update all versions of CoC between 1.4.00 and 1.4.16. Please read the description:

Beware that updating can ruin your game if you are using addons that alter the changed files in the patch.
Installation:
- Extract into your S.T.A.L.K.E.R.- Call of Chernobyl directory and overwrite. Make sure relative paths are the same (ie. database should be extracted over S.T.A.L.K.E.R.- Call of Chernobyl\database)
This cumulative patch for 1.4 does not contain optimized textures and *.thm fixes that are included in the full 1.4.12 repack. If you would like to reduce VRAM usage (reduces out of memory crashes), download the 1.4.12 repack (3GB) before applying this patch. If installing the full repack, make sure to delete the S.T.A.L.K.E.R.- Call of Chernobyl\database directory before overwriting the 1.4.12 repack on top of existing CoC installs.
Addon Compatibility With Patches:
- If you see anything in your STALKER-CoC\gamedata directory that is in the file changes, then it's like you don't have the patched version of that file. If you see that you are using modified gamedata that was changed, then avoid the patch and wait for all your addons to be updated.
- Due to the nature of mods, it's impossible to keep compatibility with every patch. The gamedata directory overwrites files stored in the .db files, even the patches. This loading order is dictated by the order in fsgame.ltx. This means it's possible addons will not break when you install patches but your game will be using old files. It's up to the addon creator to unpack the patches and release a compatible addon for the current CoC version.
- AO3, OWR3, STCOP will most likely always be compatible and are currently the only TeamEPIC supported addons for Call of Chernobyl. Purely comestic mods (textures/meshes) should always be compatible as well.
Technical Information about Patches:
- Versioning is done like Major.Minor.Patch.
Notes:
- a new shortcut command line option has been added, pass -no_bump_mode1 to skip the loading of _bump#.dds textures for reduced VRAM usage at the cost of reduced bump map detail. Generally this is for people who have crap PCs.

Should still be save compatible with 1.4.15 savegames. Remember to update addons, especially if you get errors.

since 1.4.16 it takes me about 20 secs when i press "esc" ingame to go to main menu for saving. Takes about same time to safe a game; comes together with a sound error (the menu background sound crashes after 4 secs)....i can continue gaming in normal performance, but taking 40 secs at all to safe (i prefer to safe often), ruins the game....any ideas ? Somehow possible, that 1.4.16 doenst use my 16 GB Ram (i remember there was a 4 gb limit at some version...)
or is there a possibility that i have to "unpack" some patch files again (as i did to create a gamedata folder after the vanilla install...) ??
well its WEIRD but i FIXED it.
i had to "unchek" the compatibility mode when going to the XRengine.exe and the COC.exe and at the same time activate both in administrator mod. Now back to menu takes 1 second as usual !!!

Is ist right, that i got in my Stalker CoC path the following folders ???
1.bin folder
2.databasefolder
3.gamedata
4.appdata
I used some database converter to create a gamedata folder and be able to edit some files. I am running version 1.4.16 with AO3 and minor addons fine, but the Fasttravel wont work. I found out that somehow there are not even the requiered files in my configs/Plugins and scripts folders so i added them manually....but as soon as i "activate" FT by setting the parameter for FT = True un one of the files, the game wont load...i got back to 1.14.15 but i see, that allthough you mentioned Fasttravel to be included in this update first, that there are also not the 2 files included...
which leads me to my question: could it be, that i somewhere installed something wrong or would have to "re extract" some DB archive again ???

hello the grass detail density slider in the vidoe options is missing since patch .15 as i noticed grass is pretty low in game , is there anything i can do via console commands ,or does anyone know how much denisty or radious the grass is currently set to with the option in video options being gone ? thanks

Thank you very much for the patch! Everything is just super! Can you have something to ask? Where have all the NPCs around Hermann's bunker (Jupiter)? Prior to this version, they have always been here. It was not logical as the scientists off guard. Do you think of the return?
The jobs have been opened to simulation because the static spawns could die and not be replaced. Though it's strange you don't see anyone yet.

So how this quick travel thing works exactly? I enabled it in the config file, the travel locations are in my map, but it wont work because i cant click on them with any of my mouse buttons. What I need to do else? I tried it as 'Loner'

PS. really liked that stalkers have same demand that don't reset with every dialog (1.4.15 change) because with fast travel it make life easier.
No seriously - I played Stalkers A LOT so fast travel make the game better, doesn't feel like a cheat when only thing you save is your time.

Only one thing needs help now - loading the game show LOST to the Zone, character die before loading end.
It happened a lot in Skadowsk in Zaton but now it happening outside, I need to save in 5-7 separate saves a lot to be sure, sometimes even 5 slots is not enough...
When you get that message try this: startup in debug mode, turn god mode on and load saved game, save game, turn god mode off, start game in normal mode and load save.
I think it happens because the state of emissions fail to turn off at least when it happened to me I didn't get the emission is over message.
I know that there is debug mode with "-dbg" at command line but there is no god-mode option?
Recently something goes wrong and environment start looking like there is emission but no message neither there are effect of it.
Now the problem is - character die in shelters (like Skadowsk) because something, and die outside because Emission is bugged. Dear lord...
Is this an old save? it hasn't happened to me since 1.4.10 and it only happened once, the console for god mode is "g_god 1" and with a 0 it's off.
Did you tweaked something in traders? I got Good rep. and Legendary rank but still couldn't get Svarog (or even Veles) from Saharov.
Since escorted hostage worked I took that green trashbag to Yantar and found that trader here have these detectors.

Bug Report:
The Companions now doing what they need to do, wich is nice, but in the Mission With Semenov: he is not doing anything. He just follow you as a companion but he nothing do their mission. (Collecting samples from mutants etc.)

Playing as Loner, starting a new game at Rostok, neither the Rookie village or swamp (the only two I ran to) fast travel locations would activate. No house icon or anything. Didn't activate for my old save either (started in 1.4.14, and also a Loner) The Faction_quick_travel.ltx is in place and set to true.
All my quick travel locations are gone. Playing as Loner and usually quick travel to Cordon, now the green home option is missing. I did that other comment about getting faction_quick_travel.ltx thing, and it isn't working, I made a folder in the configs of gamedata called "plugins" and put it there to see if it would work, and it doesnt. Is there something I'm missing?
Update: Soz, I fixed it, had to change the settings in the file from false to true! How stupid of me!

Red Forest for example ; Bandits chilling with Freedom ; I play a Loner ;
Ok here is what takes place = Bandits see me. I shoot it out with them. Freedom notices I kill bandits and go hostile towards me. I shoot freedom in self defense and now my reputation drops all together because I was on good terms with them a moment before.
I normally do not go near freedom areas because they hang out with bandits, but I find it difficult to believe I had shot a stray at Freedom to **** them off.
On a side note, is it normal for a single Merc to stand on the 2nd floor of the guard post just before the Lemansk bridge? He scared the $h!t out of me and I shot him in the face by accident lol XD
Now the Mercs are grumpy too.....crap >_>
Neutral or Friendly factions shouldn't turn hostile when witnessing the death of another faction, which is unchanged from vanilla games. I'll check it.
Could you check this combination please? NPCs being broken. I'm just curious if you are able to localize the cause so it can be resolved =D

1.4.12 + 1.4.16 patch.
Alundaio's solution for getting fast travel to work is almost right, but not quite. You get a .txt document if you follow his instructions as it is.
What I did is I copy-pasted everything from that page into a .txt document, then opened it, enabled =true in it and saved it by adding .ltx to the end of the file name, changing the document form. This worked for me.
It's also possible that because the formatting is destroyed in the document if you do save as that just turning that file from a .txt into a .ltx wouldn't work without fixing it, and that would be tedious.

Could you possibly upload your file? Not sure if i'm just slow or something but I did everything you described here and still nothing happens when I right click a green house in the pda.
That link all you do is right-click and save as. It will auto-fill as faction_quick_travel.ltx
Perhaps it's because I am using Chrome to do this? Does this work without an issue in firefox? The reason that right-click save-as doesn't work for me was due to it improperly saving as a .txt document.
maybe I use opera. You can just choose 'select all formats' I believe in the droplist to avoid it forcing .txt
Anyone who have problems with the new fast travel feature, at least i figured out the one of the possible problem is when you use the xrGame.dll from Smurth's Dynamic HUD the fast travel option is not appear in the PDA if you click any of the discovered fast travel location. If you copy the original dll file from the latest patch, its works like a charm.
