The Xenoforce Reborn mod takes the classic Xenoforce mod from CNC Generals and re-invisions it on the CNC3 engine with new units and new designs. The new armies that are currently scheduled to be in the mod are the Earth Federation, ZEON, the Invid, and the Earth Robotech Defense Force. We also have heavily modified the original CNC3 armies, giving the GDI, NOD, and Scrin a much more dynamic gameplay experience. This mod is NOT FOR PROFIT and NON-commercial based.
Just a quick update
So here is a quick pic of what we have been doing. What you see here is the same squad in the game. One upgrade has it set to buggies as its support unit with a RPG leader and the other shows bikes as the units with the RPG as the leader.
I'm not going to go into detail here about what we are doing or how this would play out in the game, that will happen as we get more done, but I wanted to show some sort of progress so people don't get the idea that the mod is dead.
I have a question, why is an infantry unit the leader of a group of vehicles? :-P
Haha, that poor rocketeer, he will have to run after the nod assault bikes... you sure you don't want to give him a jet pack :)
Having a soldier combine with the vehicle will not work at the same speed. This infantry will need an exoskeleton equipment that can improve their walking speed.
The infantry is not going to stay there. it's just there to show its the same squad that is changing the vehicle type through an upgrade. otherwise all it would look like to you guys is 2 different squads (which it still kinda does).
This is showing a new kind of nod unit, the Adjustable Frame unit. depending on the orders a commander unit is able to give the Adjustable Frame unit can switch body types to better fit it's needed roll.
